do you think he'll get the chance to? at this point i think we're probably more likely to see shilow tracey in pre-season with the first team than we are marcus. i know people will say that confining him to the u23s would be no less than he deserves and i'm not here to debate that but if we do then it's just going to compound the problem. i would hope that poch will tell him it's a clean slate and that as long as he gets his head down and works hard(and turns up on time) then he'll be involved with the first team(what's left of it anyway) in the US, give him something to focus on and to aim for.
Not going to happen. Poch is not the type. Some of our players have had bad loans in the past but they always conducted themselves in a professional manner. As underwhelming as Kane may have been at, say, Leicester, he was never anything but a model professional despite not playing anywhere near as much as he would have liked. The same could be said of Mason. Bad behaviour reflects very badly on the club and it would be very unlike us to just let it slide.
Poch will take a very dim view of Marcus' behaviour. I'd imagine that there will be some sort of "chat" where Marcus will be told exactly the predicament that he's in and if we must we'll bin him.
I can't actually remember the last youth player who was sent packing from their loan for off the field problems. The closest I can remember was Yuri Berchiche who run into some trouble at Cheltenham but I always cut him some slack in that case because Martin Allen was in charge and was treating the loanees and youth players disgracefully.
Also I cannot see Tracey being with us once the season ends, he's just far, far too short of the fundamentals that you need to play for this club.
