I wouldn't judge him on last night, the midfield 2 were incredibly uninspiring and sucked the fluidity from our play. I would think that a ball playing cm will be high on our list of priorities over the summer along with replacing the outgoing Toby.

I.might like it Im a masochist!
Was everyone as good?
It take 2 players to understand not one.
Its difficult to say after one game.
Its also about what Poch adked for him.
Usually a player who is more on the right and puts him on the left coukd be that he wants him to attack the goal with his right
But we dont know that
Some people just want to prove their points
I just want to know the truth
Good post
How many times was theo walcott, theo walcott?

So Moura was theo walcott just the once....but he probablt wasnt Ronaldo either?
Haha is this a trap?
You should be called Voice of Reason
Ooops..
Just watched the first half..Brightons defence were very good.
Moura,Eriksen,Son an co have done fome good things and some mediocre.
Davies really terrible todsy.
Its not good enough generally for a team fighting at the top
Fucking hell mate can't you just post this in on one single post?

Probably got fed up of waiting for the passes from Wanyama and Sissoko that were never arriving.

Wanyama hasn't been right since he was injured,Sissoko is mediocre at best. You are right, they were the two that brought to ball up in this game and the distribution was terrible. Eriksen who is playing much better these days,as he is more proactive and look to take the ball forward also hit a lot of passes into Brighton players and some good ones was also a factor. Add that to the wing backs iffy passes, mostly Davies and there wasn't a lot of distribution even though we had a ton of possession. Moura did 2 or 3 nice things but didn't make an impact, here was a chance to do better. Kane looked injured but did cop the goal from Sons effort. All round nothing special.
On the other hand Brighton played well especially their defence. We didn't do nearly enough to look convincing

I see some of the comments here. I don't think Moura was very effective but who was?
Moura had a great shot, hustled for the ball near the box and got it before the defender, made a few good passes. Eriksen hit a defender many times but did a few nice things. It wasn't impressive for a team fighting at the top

I think some people are being a little harsh on Moura here. Sure, he didn’t shine last night, but who did? It was a poor team performance, probably due to poor play from our fullbacks, and the... interesting midfield duo.

Still, he had his moments. Early on, he nipped in to steal the ball and won a good free kick. A little later, he had a good shot from some distance. And in the second half, he arguably should’ve had a penalty after a good run in behind. Can any other player claim to have had a better game? Not really.

A lot of the time he stands in a position where you can't pass to him anyway. A work in progress.

Sounds like something that needs work on. Got to get used to the rhythm of our attack and that can be hard if you are in and out of the team. I doubt he will go to the World Cup so at least he will have the summer to get ready for next season.

Why do we have a wum in this thread? Is just post after post of utter fucking bollocks.
I doubt very much that he is a WUM.

He's new, has a different posting style to most, doesn't quite know how to use the site properly yet and has a view on a player that differs to others. He's hardly causing a row with everyone who opposes his view!
