Positive spin on things.

The final is not at Anfield.
They haven't really played a team with huge European history.
They haven't played a current team full of European champions yet.

They've got a great chance to win it but they could still shit the bed.

Hopefully they'll only manage a draw with Stoke on Saturday lunchtime if the pitch is too wet .

The other negative is that with the high score, Pool won't need to rest their first choice players in their next PL game.

I get that everyone on here seems to hate Liverpool and their fans; but my god they’ve both been good tonight (regardless of how crap Roma have been).

Fazio has won a the Europa and got to a semi final in the champions league ?
Every time I’ve seen him play he reminds me of Frankenstein’s monster

I really want to believe you but it's hard to think Real or Bayern will beat them, don't know how either defence would hold up against them.

I want Real to get through because they have the know how and are likely to shit house their way to the final whistle.

No need to bring Salah, Mane and Firmino to Rome for the 2nd leg. How often can you do that in a semifinal?

Fuck me what a depressing week. A genuine reality check for us Spurs fans.

I would swap the last 10 Years of league table dominance over Liverpool in a heartbeat for what they are doing right now.

I’m so bitter.

Hard to disagree with that. When you see this full on performance, albeit against a dreadful side, it's where I wish spurs were. I have to say, having seen city and Liverpool. I'd suggest we are a long long way off this quality. Liverpool in terns of intensity are unreal at times and a sickening joy to watch. Especially in terms of big match mentality.

I think Juventus would have been the worst tie for Liverpool, RM and Bayern are winnable. Can't see Heynckes being this naive though tactically.

Defenders with pace, midfield that can control the game and world class forwards. That’s the difference between both Bayern/Real and this sorry Roma side.

Do you honestly think Liverpool are the best club side in football right now?

Henderson and Milner won’t get any joy at all out of Modric and the like

There front 3 will terrorise bayern and real in the final. With or without possession they are dangerous all game because of their lace and movement.

Sadly, you're probably right.

Yeah I'd hope for Madrid because it's Ronaldo's stage.
