Hasn't Ronaldo always struggled against Liverpool? I can't remember but I hope not. Either way Madrid will beat them. Klopp loves fucking up finals.

I'm convinced Liverpool will beat Madrid in the final. If they couldn't live with the energy of our attack they have no chance with Liverpool.

I also think, with less logic, that Madrid can't keep winning the CL, particularly playing as they have this year.

Madrid have had a rock hard route to the final, Liverpool probably the easiest of all time but Madrid are the flukey ones?

Doubtful Madrid will be that open in the final, finals are often played at different pace and intensity, players are much more cautious and big game mentality normally pays dividends.

Madrid have had a rock hard route to the final, Liverpool probably the easiest of all time but Madrid are the flukey ones?

No worries...let's ignore that they've had the hardest run to the final because it doesn't go hand in hand with this silly narrative shall we.

We know football doesn't work like that though, occasions for one can make for completely different performances. Liverpool will have a good chance for sure, but I'm not convinced that they're favourites in any way.

The only thing that worries me about Madrid is that they don't seem to be the most organised or defensively drilled team and can sometimes be naive. The good thing though is that you can never rule them out because they always have goals in them.

Ulreich, what a plum. But that second goal made very little difference, Bayern still had to score three and for all their great approach play, they bumbled like fuckers in Real's box.

Shame, because I think Bayern would have given Liverpool a sterner test.

Dippers are gonna win the CL. FML
Don't rule it out, but don't think so. Way too much tried and tested talent with experience in CL finals in that Real team. I remember that Juve defence last year being one of the best team defences I'd ever seen; a much stronger unit than this year's version.

Yet, in the final, Real, after being dominated first half, just switched gear and pulled them all over the issue. Gaps started appearing all over the Juve defence, and Real had plenty of looks and took their chances.

It's what Real do when they need to! Also think that Liverpool defence will be exposed by Real's attack..a lot! All assuming it's not Roma in the final :).

I think it is highly unlikely that Roma will progress, in many ways it will be even more difficult for them to beat Liverpool 3-0 than it was to beat Barcelona, and that was some achievement, because of the speed and counter attack that Liverpool have, if Fazio is also playing again I just can't see him coping with that pace. If as we pretty much expect Liverpool make it, then I believe it will come down to the occasion.

RM will cope with the occasion of the final there is no doubt about that, I believe it will be determined by whether Liverpool and their players are affected by the occasion and what they could achieve. If it goes to their heads they lose.

If Liverpool's players don't let the occasion go to their heads, and they play the way they have been regularly playing and their defence doesn't completely crumble, I believe they have too much firepower in them and they will win it, because I haven't been impressed at all with how Real Madrid have coped with teams with pace and real firepower in their attack this season.

Emmm, I will just say forget everything you saw during the season. Attacking play, defence, form, strugglings, etc.

Finals is a special game and everything can happen. It's 50:50 for me.

Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Mane and Firminio along for the ride with Salahpool, team looks very average otherwise

I'm hoping Roma will have some nous and drop Fazio, play to their own strengths, learn from the first leg, and put a reducer on Salah early doors.

I doubt they will so I think Liverpool will go through 2-0 or 2-1.

Fazio plays.
