Eriksen has a better record then most Premier League legends had at his age, including players like Steven Gerrard. He has had a slightly weaker season this year, but shit he is not. He is still a work in progress. He's only just turned 22 FFS.

Kane IS world class. If a short term run of average form is all it takes for you to doubt that then you should have a long hard look at yourself. Even Messi has had off spells.

Kane is world class but he was rushed back. Still reckon he scores another 3 - 4 goals before the season finishes.

its not negativity its called realism, its false hope which what brings us down, ofc top 4 is still in our hands but if you think we can be confident after our performances then im sorry but you are deluded
Are you going to either of the final two games? Are you going to take this "realism" into Wembley?

If you showed as much passion when we win a football match on here as you do putting the boot in you'd be a cracking fan ... Fucking hell mate we get it, you don't like his subs fucking deal with it, it fucking happened. Jesus fucking christ.

its not just his subs tho is it? its the fact that we played 5 at the back against a relegation threatened side, he left his changes too late, like i said before he needs to take some responsibility and learn before it costs us.

Can we beat Newcastle? Yes.
Can we beat Leicester? Yes.

Completely up to the players now, if you want champions league, go out there and prove it. If you fail, don't whine about not being in the Champions league next season.
If you factor in everything ie; kane's form and the way we are playing, our inability to break teams down, our current loss of tempo and our pressing game up in smoke, then we are not going to beat either of these teams. Our heads go down at the slightest setback, and Pochettino and co do not seem to have the wherewithal to put a backbone and motivation back into the team. Fifth place is looming large.

That's all you've banged on about, the subs no where in what I quoted did it mention anything else.

They did us like they did Liverpool and Utd.

Your negativity has a place and is warrented in a frustrating result - the perma negative view is a crock of utter fucking shit including a stat trying to back up a claim about us being bottle jobs without any context what-so-ever.

You crack on with your shitty fucking axe to grind though, you won't be about if we manage to clinch top four though, that much I can bank on.

Poch ''We need to realise that we need to be more aggressive from the beginning and not wait''
what you mean like you waiting ages to make a sub?

It's all well and good Poch saying that, but he's been picking players who just don't have that aggression in them. Son looked tired weeks ago, Dembele's been fucked for months now, Davies flagging, Dier... Today, all those left out, correctly, but we've still got imposter Kane up front offering no running, no focal point up top, no nothing. Sanchez has been shaky and looking a bit weary for a few weeks now, and now Eriksen has looked like he is running out of steam a bit in the last couple of games.

I said this after the Man U game, it still applies - if he wants them to be aggressive, then he needs to select 11 players, from back to front, who can offer that. Whoever that means leaving out. If he doesn't want to leave certain players out then he needs to change his approach a bit maybe (though I still don't think you can get away with passengers whatever you try). Instead, to me, Poch has just buried his head in the sand and is just hoping the job gets done, well on the evidence of the last half a dozen games (win, lose, or draw) it's looking quite debatable whether we can cling on to a CL place. Couple of games to sort this out and finish the season well, but we've made it much more difficult than we should have done.

We don`t open up teams that sit back so lets buy players with a bit of technique that can do that it cannot be rocket science... You cannot rely on work rate and shape and tactics all the time sometimes you need a player who just does special things and we don`t really have one of those.
Lucas and Son may not be Neymar but they can both do that. I have no idea why they both were on the bench today when everybody knew West Brom would sit deep, pack the box, and try to force us outside. We clearly needed a man on the pitch who could beat his man one on one today.

Kane is very good, but he most certainly is not world class!

you are totally missing the point, ofc i am still going to back the team vocally, but if you expect me to be surprised should it go wrong then no i wont be, hope for the best and prepare for the worst

You can't question Kane's ability, he's obviously still feeling the effects of injury.

I really don't think he is though, no way he would be playing and playing 90 minutes every match if he was. Even his sharpness you thought he would have gotten back by now, really not sure what it is.

Poch- ‘If we are not able to win the next two games we do not deserve to qualify for the Champions League’.

Well he’s right there...

This was a huge missed chance for the manager to make a statement.

Win the game, tell United we are chasing them down for second, tell Chelsea and Liverpool we are locking up third and that they can fight it out for fourth.

Finish second and he could ask questions of Liverpool and United’s so called great seasons if both were to fail to win a trophy. Finish second and be able to point at theteams below us and Chelsea and Arsenal outside the top four.

Instead we are sweating on tomorrow’s game and have put undue pressure on ourselves.

A win today and Poch could have strutted into post match press conference and taken a leaf out of Mourinho’s book.

I still think we will finish top four, but third and second should have been the target today.

We are lucky that that our immediate CL rivals play each other this late in the season thus giving us hope that they will drop pts esp with the form that we are in. Had they, esp Chelsea, play against mid table fodders all the way till end of season, i would imaginr that they will win all of them and pipping us.
