Just rewatched the goal on motd. That ball really should've been hugo's (anything in the middle of the 6 yard box should be the keepers) and would've been a few weeks ago. There was another one he left just before it too plus harry kanes near og. Looking like his recent errors have affected him a fair bit.

We're blaming Lloris now?

Before the game, when the team was announced, the general feeling was so positive that SC almost ordered an on the spot drug test, we were convinced one of you had smuggled in a bong.

Wow what a line up

Best line up we have had all season
And there were very many similar comments, positivity was rife.

Now, after the game, (mostly) different people are picking holes in it. I wouldn't have picked him, we'd have been better off putting him there and leaving him on the bench and all sorts. A most curious phenomenon :D

Shame is West Brom have had two managers under whom they couldn't get a win to save their lives and we didn't face either of them. What you gonna do!

The most godawful aspect of yesterday - probably even more so than the risk we've posed to our own top 4 chances - is the fact we might have given these brutes the points that see them stay up and continue their year-in, year-out hoodoo over us for next season.

They're actually a decent team who've had crucial injuries and bad management, including Pardew. Moore seems to have restored unity among the players and made them care for the club. That makes them a very dangerous team to come up against.

Just think if Utd had taken their chances against them or Liverpool didn't piss away a two goal lead against them ... Those guys!

I love Poch but he has chosen a very bad time to kill the vibes. Ultimately the buck stops with Levy, but there seems to be a bad atmosphere around the club at the moment, and its Pochettino's job to stabilise the mood.

All these contract/transfer stories coming out three games before the end of the season are completely unprofessional and demoralising, and that, I suppose, is what modern football is all about.

And it doesn't help with him creating doubts that he will be here next year!

I recorded it and wanted to watch but accidentally stumbled on the result... I dont have to waste an hour (watched 25 minutes) on a sunny sunday now. That silver lining again.

I'm not pointing the finger at any one particular person or persons...but cut it anyway you like...if we wish to be recognised as a top premiership club we should not be losing these type of matches. I have been nervous about this fixture all week and rightly so as it turns out. Deeply disappointed but not unduly surprised....

For me, a more worrying possibility is that too many in the team seem to tighten up in important must win situations. We miss too many half and good chances to score, we seem to panic and give away too many goals in the final added on time - 20 times, 1 more than Swansea. Being top of the list for the most conceded is not a record to be proud of. It is pointless having a team of clever skillful players if, when games are important, they don't have the mental strength to keep playing to their capabilities. I think the time may be approaching when we have to write off dropped points saying it is a Spursey performance. All teams can have these games, but the winning teams seem capable of avoiding them.

Will they, though? I know the fans hate us, but I don't think the players care. And if they turn up, will their desire to fuck us be greater than our desire to secure top four?
Time to wholeheartedly support Liverpool. But you just know this time they will fuck it up.

People say on here about Leicester not caring about our match...what worries me is I remember Chelsea declaring they wanted them to win the title and giving them that after our 2-2 draw....maybe Leicester would like to help Chelsea get a top four spot and return the favour ?? or am I just being paranoid here ??

Can’t be bothered to watch the low lights. But I suppose just have to look at West Brom’s recent results to put some context on the defeat. However it is a concern that barring first 20 mins against Utd in the semi final we have been awful since the Chelsea’s game. Barring a not fit Harry Kane returning I can’t see what has changed.
Ones thing for sure I feel this team has come to the end of it’s current cycle and needs fresh investment in the summer to fresh’n the Squad up.

Is this stat all time prem league or just under Poch?

Without context it's utter bollocks tbh.

I am not making excuses but how is Livermore standing on the line and isn't offside?

It happens far too often (& has done for years) that our defending at corners lets us down & we let scrappy goals in.
Against teams like West Brom, you know that their best chance of scoring will be a scrappy goal from a corner or set piece, yet it still keeps happening.
Makes you wonder what is worked on in training leading up to games like this.

Where are you getting this from? We've conceded two goals in injury time as far as I can see. West Brom and Burnley. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.

Something stinks.

This group of players were dicking teams for fun.

You're not telling me these fuckers have forgotten how to play football.

There's no desire, and a large amount of "can't be arsed" around the whole thing at the min. Like, I can barely remember the last time I saw us press real hard with a lot of determination that bloody-mindedly used to kill teams off real quick.

The frustration lies here: We've seen what this team is capable of. It's immense. We've amassed the most points in the two previous seasons, etc. So why can't we seem to string a few slick passages of play together at the min?! You're not telling me the players have all of a sudden lost that.

Seems a little fractious for my tastes.
