Newcastle have barely been to Wembley in their history quite remarkable. Will be a big day out for their fans. I very much doubt Benitez will sit 10 behind the ball on their day out. Won’t expect him to go crazy, but they certainly will try and have a go.

It's hard to know, I actually forgot how scrutinised he was at times earlier in the season for parking the bus and not looking to attack much. I remember it reached boiling point in the City game at home where they looked like they wanted to play the whole match in their own half. It may be their 'day out' but he'll do whatever he thinks will see them take something from the game, whether that's playing more open or parking a double decker.

Do you realise that Chelsea have not won at Newcastle since 2012.

Doesn't really give any comfort though as we can't allow it to get to a point where we have to rely on Chelsea dropping points there. Regardless of their record, they are fully capable of getting a win there.

Whilst we all understandably fear the worst and know that we are in for a real fight on Wednesday and Sunday (as much in the minds of our players than the quality of opposition in many ways), it should not be taken for granted that Huddersfield (fighting for survival) or Newcastle (last match of the season in front of their own fans) will roll over for Chelsea. Nor should we assume that tiring Liverpool (who have dropped points against West Brom and Stoke in recent weeks) will steamroll a resurgent and tricky Brighton side.

why will they play like that against us? v Man City they needed points. since they beat Arsenal, they have downed tools. if they do the same v us as they did v City, then why won't they do that on Sunday v Chelsea

Hopefully they will v Chelsea. If it’s at Newcastle they could get a draw perhaps?

The last 5 times they’ve played Newcastle in Newcastle, Chelsea have lost 3, drawn 2 and won only once.

I know I posted it about 10 pages ago that Chelsea haven't won there since 2011/12

To be honest what annoys me about Chelsea at the moment is that they've been picking up wins, without actually playing that great. Their on pitch success is heavily reliant on Hazard. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they drop points against Huddersfield, but I also won't be surprised if they win in a fairly unconvincing manor. It's actually their recent results and how they've still managed to get wins without playing great that also makes me think they'll just win their remaining two as well.

They've opted to drop an attacking player to pack the midfield more and as a result I think it's more that they've overpowering their opponents as opposed to outright outplaying them. With the spark and ability of someone like Hazard they can get away with just having him and Giroud up top, without Hazard I really don't think that would work.

Well, for what it's worth, here's my take: Huddersfield drew away to City in their last game. They are only 3 points above Swansea but have a worse GD so they need a result away to Chelsea on Wednesday. On Sunday Chelsea are away to Newcastle, who will not want to lose their last home game of the season, especially with the reception they are likely to get from their own fans for staying up.

Our two games are both at 'Home' agaist teams that have nothing to lose or gain. I believe we have the easier two fixtures but the key is for Poch to gee the guys up so they are quick out of the traps and don't fall into the tippy tappy at the back crap. We need a win tomorrow, we will be in third and the pressure will be on Liverpool and Chelsea on the weekend!

I actually believe Chelsea will win their last 2 matches, yes both are not easy Huddersfield are struggling for another point, and Newcastle have been on the beach since they beat Arsenal to guarantee survival. we just have to hope they decide to stay on it on Wednesday, and hope Leicester decide to stay on their sun lounges that they have been sat on for the last 5 games

It doesn't matter to us what other teams will do or won't do or want to do won't want to do or manage to do or can't or how long ago it is since last time they scored at this and that stadium.

It's all redundant bullcrap from people spouting off "opinions" without actually bothering to establish whether there is any real substance or rhyme or reason behind the assumptions. These "theories" are repeated and repeated, with increasing frequency in correlation with how football cliché a certain assumption sounds.

Leicester will want to beat us real good ya'll.

It is so unimportant.

Presently, what matters is us. We is us. We are 4th, we have a small gap to benefit from, and two matches to do it. It's all in our hands. We can choose to show up, or we can choose to take summer holiday early. It's all down to our own players' desire, ability and drive. That's what will decide our fortune.

Not whether or no Leicester feel that they owe Chelsea some far fetched repay from two seasons back.

We can easily win our last two games if we don't then it's going to be a massive embarrassment that we missed out and it will be made even bigger in the media. The players cannot hide, if they want CL next year in a spurs shirt then they'll have to perform.
