itdoesn't matter to us what other teams will do or won't do or want to do won't want to do or manage to do or can't or how long ago it is since last time they scored at this and that stadium.

It's all redundant bullcrap from people spouting off "opinions" without actually bothering to establish whether there is any real substance or rhyme or reason behind the assumptions. These "theories" are repeated and repeated, with increasing frequency in correlation with how football cliché a certain assumption sounds.

Leicester will won't to beat us real good ya'll.

It is so unimportant.

Presently, what matters is us. We is us. We are 4th, we have a small gap to benefit from, and two matches to do it. It's all in our hands. We can chose to show up, or we can chose to take summer holiday early. It's all down to our own players' desire, ability and drive, and sometimes a bit of luck. That's what will decide our fortune.

Not whether or no Leicester feel that they owe Chelsea some far fetched repay from two seasons back.

agree with everything that I can understand , and just added a fraction

It's kind of ironic that the same players who destroyed both Champions League finalists at Wembley a few months ago are now worried about whether Newcastle and Leicester decide to compete or not. Or at least the fans are worried about it. Hopefully not the players.

Leicester and Newcastle are said to have been on the beach recently. Teams are always motivated though when the game matters to who they are playing. That sometimes takes their opponents by surprise or makes them cross that they are motivated to stand in the way of their bigger ambitions.
We must expect two motivated teams and not be surprised or resentful of that and go out and beat them.
It's in our hands and up to us to do it. Every big team looking at winning anything will have must wins at the end of the season- let's win them!

I think, people are missing one factor, our issue with our bogey teams, for some reason we always struggle against West Brom

Then our next two matches are against Newcastle and Leicester.

Newcastle, Im confident we will win but Leicester fucking hate us, they feel a big rivalry between us after they won the PL. The players will want to screw us over imo especially if in their heads, they can bring us down to their level

I don't think either team will roll over, but I'd still rather play a team with nothing to play for and who look to be on the beach. Even if Leicester would love to put one over on us, it didn't do them much good at the end of last season against us when they were in much better form.

The key then and now is us, not our opponents. Unfortunately, we were playing superbly then and awful now.

I can't say I'm confident at all, but it's all to do with how we are playing.

Can we stop with this bollocks? This is the same team we stuffed at the end of last season around the same time. The players are more intent on getting another manager sacked at the moment, 'stopping' us from finishing in the top four is the furthest thing from their mind it seems.

We can easily win our last two games if we don't then it's going to be a massive embarrassment that we missed out and it will be made even bigger in the media. The players cannot hide, if they want CL next year in a spurs shirt then they'll have to perform.

Not to mention some pretty damn sizeable bonuses for CL too. The motivation should be sky high. Just hope the lads can find their form fast, especially the attackers!

For the first time since we beat Chavski this is worrying me. Can see us cocking this right up now. We've lacked incision since Kane came back from injury and I can see the chav's doing what they need to do. This would be a bigger cock up than letting Arse in to second at Newcastle if we flop here.

Stupid thing to say obviously but this is a defining moment for us. was speaking to a chav fan at 5-a-side last night and he didn't seem worried at all. "Spurs always bottle it" was the response and everyone else in the group (from various supporter backgrounds) just simply nodded and agreed. Whatever the truth we're still clearly perceived as bottling big opportunities and here we go, here's another one. Fail here and it'll haunt us for years.

Am still confident we'll do it but at the same time nervous because we always take things to the wire, always.

Also are the likes of Vardy or Mahrez going to put their World Cup selections in jeopardy by going all out, and risking pinging a hammy in a meaningless game for them?

I expect Newcastle and Leicester to be both tough games and Poch will be relaying to the players that they will be tough games.

Anytime we underestimate opposition on here, it usually blows up in our faces. I think we get the points needed but we'll have to grind it out.

Not really. That was only our second loss since 2008. Usually we win or draw. Mainly draw of late.

1 win in 5 before the weekend against a lesser team is not a good record in the current PL climate. They definitely are a bogey team.

It's mainly because they are strong and physical, and a big threat from set-pieces, so they match well against us. Keep our score down to 1 and nick one from a set piece.

Leicester and Newcastle are also capable of such play (Leicester are also a big counter threat with Vardy and Mahrez) but their current motivation levels are questionable, hopefully they aren't bang at it.
