It does seem he has raised his game recently and if he does start the final I really don't see him leaving. He doesn't seem to want to leave (according to itk) so if he is still getting game time and preforming why would RM force him out the club. I'm sure they want to bring in Neymar or Hazard and need to raise funds, but considering the money involved with Bale, selling him if he doesn't want to leave will be very tricky.

I want him back badly now, recent matches have shown we need that extra touch of quality.

Would be immense having him and Kane up top.

This would be perfect for us, when Gareth left we were essentially a one man team. We can’t hate him for going to the biggest club in the world - with the money raised it has helped us grow to a regular champions league team, we’re now in a position to win things. Him coming back now would be perfect, we’re at a level now as a team way beyond when he left. He will push us on.

To those citing £50-£80m - Why would his buy back price be lower than what we sold him for? That just makes no sense.

If it existed.

Yes I get how clauses work. But having one lower than what you paid for it just would be ridiculous.
Not really. "OK, we agree to X millions now which is less than what we would have wanted, if we potentially can get him back on a cheap later". OR "We'll give you less than you want now, but you may want to do the deal now if you can get him back on a cheap"?

‘Ok we’ll buy Gareth Bale off you for £85m, but you can buy him back any time you want for £60m’. No one agrees to that, unless they are mental.

I would imagine it's more complicated, maybe staggered. He is a lot older now.

This would be my dream signing for the summer. Love the kid, his style of play and stunning match winning goals. He carried us before but would be joining a top team this time.
Him and Harry in tandom, wow.
Shame he's apparently happy at Madrid as it's the perfect time to come back.

True, but this is Real Madrid, if a player willingly leaves them it's because their value has decreased.

Not at all. If somebody wants to "pay" now with giving a good future deal rather than hard cash presently, I don't see that being so far-fetched.

I’ve got a strange feeling that we might see Bale wearing a Spurs shirt and running out of the tunnel with Kane for the first game in our new stadium.
I also predict that he’ll have a new haircut!!!

As far as I am aware we didn't have a buy back price, it definitely isn't on the leaked transfer contract. We have first refusal, which means if Real get on offer on him we get a chance to match it, or if they want to sell them we get a chance to do the deal. This is true, its on the leaked contract. We know we have this option and we know that this is the last window in which we are able to make use of that option.

Bale will not sell for more than we sold him, he worth a lot less than that, few people will be willing to offer that kind of money, because Bale is not a young player anymore, he has a poor injury record and he is not longer in the starting line-up for Madrid.

I have heard that if Madrid receive a bid from another 'premier league' club we have 72 hours to react
