Poch has said before recently, that getting guys in before the season starts is key for him. He’s proved that by not putting the late guys straight in the team, bar maybe Sanchez.

The ball is in your court Mr Levy, and I’m confident this will be when we really go for it. Shut all the media up, win a trophy, pay rises for top players, and some big key signings. In @Hercules info I trust. Can’t wait for next season.

One or two throughout the squad can only be a positive. Think of Naybet's effect on the young King, or how good Gallas was for us.

I would agree with that but we don't have any young players for him to be mentoring, or that will want to benefit from it. We need here and now players that can form the backbone of the team for the next 4 years. The journey accelerates now

On the ball yeah but what about off it?
Which Real Madrid player kept Eriksen in check at the Bernabeu, or indeed was the only one anywhere near him when he scored the third at Wembley?

Winks? Onomah?

Maybe we won't agree but I want Bale and Modrić back so that I can party like it's 2010.

Trouble is it’s 2018, I think we should leave this here I don’t want a ban

Need to get couple of experienced signings. Clearly team needs better game management in big games. But such players are going to be expensive or probably heading towards their twilight years. But thats the kind of risk we need to be willing to take

@Hercules your itk gives a massive boost of optimism for next season. But try and give it a day or two after negative comments from pundits cause the meltdown in here is quite funny.

Joking (not about the meltdown, that is funny as fuck) you're great.

Maybe I'm on my own here, but I feel any big contract should be awarded to players who have shown that the want to be apart of the project and aren't just in it for the money. Toby if he's in it only for the money...[lack of games suggests that's his priority] should be sold to a team outside the prem and his transfer fee used to push us to the next level....

Toby want's to be compensated for his worth. What's so wrong with that? He knows he should be a top paid CB in the world, he should get that if thats what he wants. Should we be upset at you if you go take more money at another job if you think that would be deserved?

I think most people here will hope the massive contracts are for Kane and Eriksen.

Nothing wrong with wanting that. Injury concerns and age suggest it is a bigger risk for Spurs to make that commitment this summer, than it was last summer.

To be fair if we haven't signed someone by Friday everyone will be on here melting down. Doesn't take much for this site to blow a gasket and lose it. Hope the good vibes keep flowing.

I understand it from Spurs perspective, just bothers me when fans are calling him out like him wanting to make more money for his family is a bad thing.

While I don't think we should be paying minimum wage, he's probably earned enough money to set his kids and grandkids up for the rest of their lives. Is an extra 60-70k a week going to make that much difference?

Ask yourself if an extra 60-70k a week would make a difference in your life. He has a small opportunity to make an incredible amount of money, why not take advantage of that? (Hoping the players don't read this forum lol)
