Reo Griffiths uploaded and quickly deleted this on Instagram. ”Last few days in this changing room” and he tagged Tariq Hinds, both of them were rumoured to leave View attachment 38072
Seems like a farewell post and not a end of year thing. Suspect this means he is off as others have guessed. Suppose if a new deal was agreed he found a better one.

If he is off then so be it IMO. If you don't want to ply your trade at the club and you see a better option for your future development then go. I think we only have ourselves to blame for some players development (i.e. getting folks some loans earlier or developing overseas), but I also don't want a player here if he wants to chase a different path.

At 17 I just have no idea why anyone would leave us. If it’s for money at 17 then that’s ridiculous imo. He has his whole career to earn millions. By 19 I could understand. But at 17 seems crazy.

Probably because he knows he won’t get good opportunities here.

all the attention is on griffiths but hinds going would be a real loss too. he's a quality little player and in many ways i'm more confident in him reaching a higher level than reo.

That is almost word for word exactly what all the man city fans were writing on Blue Moon when rumours about Sancho leaving were rampant. Turns out, the lad was right to leave and get 1st team playing time else where.

Kirby was already on the bench in the match against us and plays for their U23.
Kirby is 18yrs old gone January. Skip plays for our under 23 at 17. These boys cannot expect to get in a first team at 17-18 unless they are top notch which they are not. Sancho is an exception. I don’t think Griffiths will come back to bite us

I actually agree with that last bit there. But if he is leaving to get more playing time elsewhere, you can't really fault him for that. Of course, we'll probably see him in a Chav kit on instagram in a couple of weeks. In which case he's just another greedy idiot.

He comes across as a complete egg on social media...
