I genuinely believe Martial might be what we need to push on. His unpredictability with the ball at his feet, his pace, and his massive goal threat might be what we need to get over the line and win something
We get unpredictability every time Sissoko touches the ball with his feet...:banghead:

Wasn't this something that we did in one of deals for Davies when we got him from Swansea? Added in the fee that they still owed us for Gylfi so the actual transfer fee was lower and Swansea didn't have to pay as high of a sell-on or something?

Swear it was with someone from Swansea.
Davies and Vorm iirc

Mate, I really don't think you need to worry too / so much about whether the problem is Martial or Mourinho.

Rashford burst onto the scene under Fergie, scored for fun, called up for his country & did the same. Had assists, link up play, finishing, speed & strength. Now he's broken & doesn't look comparable to that exciting kid Fergie gave a debut to just a couple of years ago. Mourinho broke him.

Martial, Already described quite fucking superbly by @Luka Van der Bale .. Now look at him. Slumped shoulders, no fire. Mourinho broke him.

Sanchez - Ex Gooner or not, while he was playing for that shower from down the road, he was unquestionably one of the most exciting players in the PL, if not Europe & beyond. Had it all, speed, skill, tenacity, finishing. Singlehandedly winning matches. Now look at him. Going through the motions, seemingly lost in his surroundings & pretty much just floating through games (unless he's at Wembley, what's that all about? Weird!). Mourinho broke him.

Pogba - They paid that sum and he had all the previous reviews and praise for a reason. The lad is one of the biggest talents in world football & his performances in Italy proved that. Another player who had the ability to do what others couldn't, skill, strength, pace. And he used them! Now look at him, a shadow, out of sync, moody (I accept he's always had a dodgy temper). Mourinho broke him.

If I could be arsed I could probably keep going, but hopefully my point is made. I can't stand the moody ****. Mourinho is, in my opinion, an egotistical, jumped up **** with an unbelievable ability to suffer delusions of grandeur beyond anything or anyone I've seen in football before. Mourinho is literally anti-football.

Hope that's put your mind at ease a little at least (y) COYS

I was very unsure about Pogba until I saw his second half display against Man City. He utterly destroyed them on his own. Maureen should be held accountable for failing to get such a quality player to perform on a regular basis.

Yeah, I would think he could go there. I guess it depends if they decide to take up the option on Douglas Costa.
What option is that? was it just a loan? I personally see Martial with us. If we want him and are "aggressively" pursuing him think Pochettino will get the man he wants

If the rumours are true about Morata going back to juve(he was pictured with juve director) then I can't see them going after him leaving us and Chelsea in the mix.

He’d be ideal for the team, yes we have Son on left but he can be very hot and cold and needs extra pressure on him plus Son can play right side.

Plus Martial can play centre forward (or Son can play centre forward and Martial left or vice versa).

And it’s all about options if we want to win things and allows us to freshen things up.

Son will be at the Asian games, or something like that, to try and win a medal for South Korea to avoid military call up.

Can we be optimistic here and hope South Korea win the World Cup...? That would definitely exempt him from military duty!

Let's see who is in their group...
Mexico, Sweden and Germany. Shit.

Okay, let's check out the Asia Cup group.
China, Kyrgyzstan and Philippines.
Maybe we'll pin our hopes on the Asia cup after all?

I had a brief look, I didn’t spot any itk news. The majority can’t believe Mourinho is being allowed to sell him though.

On another note, what a bunch of self entitled plastics they have on ‘that’ forum. I can’t believe that there is around 4 resident Spurs fans on there, they must be as crazy as the rest of them.

Yeah I lurk around the Red Café from time to time. It always amazes me how arrogant and self-entitled the majority of them are. Their thread about Spurs mostly consists of which of our players are 'good enough' to come to Yanited. They also like discussing 'when' Pochettino will be joining them - naturally this is coupled by "When he actually wins something bla bla bla".

Watching other teams seem to be like a game of Monopoly for them, they are mostly discussing wether player A or player B is worthy of putting on the holy Yanited shirt. They can't the fathom the idea that a player / coach might not be interested in playing for them. They are one of the biggest teams in the world so kudos to them but I hope that we never crawl that far up our own arses.

Think it was an 46 mil option rather an obligation. Ether way, i would imagine they will take it up.
Ah fair enough. Bayern CEO announced it in November that it was a done deal and Juve CEO has just announced it too apparently. Weird to think that's bayerns record sale
