The only other reasoning for that many signatures would be that the mayor of self pity city has opened up a book of condolence over Salahs shoulder in the town hall.

On the night won, all admitted they collectively shat the bed when Salah went off, Ramos incident was one of those things (accident) they obviously all hate Karius but at the same time knows they didn’t deserve it. Every single one of them (4) say they would’ve won if Salah didn’t get injured but to be honest I think they probably would’ve done.
The scouse fans are so much worse on the internet imo.

I don't think they would have. They had spells where they looked dangerous but they weren't really getting clear cut chances and they always burn out after 60 mins or so. Those final stages are where experienced winners like Madrid go on to win as they know how to manage the situation better.

Chris Waddle's pre-match prediction pretty much said the same.
I think the presenter was trying to get him to pick Liverpool to win, but he just said "If Liverpool aren't in front by the 65 min mark, then it's Madrid's title".

One thing I always notice with Liverpool is that there is always an 'if'.
They very rarely see their flaws, they genuinely think that if it wasn't for a player missing, a referee's decision, a missed opportunity, a flapping GK, luck or some other reason that may or may not have been avoidable they'd win stuff.
Very rarely do they fess up and say "actually we weren't the better, we didn't deserve to win, etc"
That guys reaction that they are still the best team in Europe sums it up for me.

Yeah, you could be right. I think they had more than spells when Salah was on. In fact, id say they were in complete control and Madrid found it hard to deal with, they could barely play out of their own half in that first half hour but you’re right they didn’t create many, if any, clear cut chances.
I thought about the burn out thing to but I think, it being a big final, that they would’ve found that extra bit of juice. Impossible to say and who cares they lost.

Didn't think Liverpool looked much kop at any point of the game but Real did start the game a little slack on the ball - misplacing passes when not under any pressure etc. Anyway, the best team won on the night etc.
