Forgive my ignorance but wasn’t the announcement below the “official”statement. What are they supposed to say now? Not having a dig, I just don’t get it.

They haven't sold any tickets yet as they're supposedly waiting for a seating plan. They cited that they were unsure about levels and tv cameras etc so were waiting on this from THFC. Assume this is what Edmonton is referring to.

Keeping everything as local as possible & directly improving the whole Tottenham area is something Levy really is genuinely passionate about isn't it ?

Funding for various youth centres & youth projects to keep youngsters away from crime. Schools and hospitals regularly visited by players, college built, prioritising locals for vacancies when the whole NDP is finished and businesses are open... I think I've made my point.

I can't pretend to know about other club owners / chairmen, but there surely can't be many who are so interested (passionate) about things outside of the club itself. Putting football aside, anyone living in or around N17 should be extremely bloody grateful for what the guy has done for their community & he should have roads, parks, bloody everything named in his honour.

3 electricians came onto the site I’m on today having just finished the SCX sliding pitch trays at our ground.

They said if they requested washers they got exactly the number that was outlined on the plans. Very Levy ?

The feeling amongst them was inside is running very much to plan and the stadium will be ready to host premier league football come September.

and electricians do need washers...

why the negative thumbs down champ?

Not a negative just a bit ‘amusing’ that the chosen local microbrewery at the new stadium may be selling out to the official beer sponsor/supplier of the new stadium and moving its production to Belgium!

Taking a stake is not a takeover. It usually means that funds are raised for the business to expand, develop new products or improve manufacturing. A potential investment from Heineken is a validation of the business not the death knell

Oh I understand that, it was more the little bit in the article about them moving their production to Belgium.

I might be reading it wrong but doesn't it say their new brewery in our stadium will be bigger than their current one...?

BEN: been given permission already for wembley if we need two grounds im told

Assuming then that this will be in place rather than the rumoured 4 games away from home start to the season like Salahpool. This is a sure sign that Wembley could potentially be a contingency plan as I've read that Alastair Gold has spoken to his sources who state that a grand august opening is still fully on the cards.

Not sure why people actually think this stadium wont be ready by September. All judged by a few webcams that show the exterior not the interior. I have seen bars/toilets/facility pictures of the internals since January so I do not expect the stadium to not be finished by October.
