Is this a goodbye?

That's exactly what it looks like to me..ala Black & White image depicting the past etc. Maybe I'm reading too much into it..maybe

Just small update. That image he posted is actually his twitter logo, which is a coloured version of the same image. If he's off, it's imminent..

Judging from his Insta activity, I think it means something is going on. He always seems to post about things happening now rather than reminiscing.

Not that I've been studying him or his legs closely.

People going on about him replacing Dembele but I’m not entirely sure how he resembles dembele at all, grealish is all about quick and intuitive passing and offering a goal threat whereas dembele offers no goal threat or incisive passing whatsoever, more strength and dribbling as his strengths with little else and loads of inconsistency and injuries, they are nothing like each other!!

I don't think it's possible to find a like-for-like replacement for Dembele. I can't think of a single player that combines his grace, power, unique ability to glide past people and also complete lack of cutting edge. I think Grealish, with a holding midfielder behind him, could play the same position, but in a completely different way. He'd make some Dembele-ish runs from deep but also keep the ball ticking over and spraying passes. Probably score more than 1 goal a century too.

As explained by others. Maybe we are not looking to replace dembele with a like for like.

However dembele’s role in the team is to transition the ball from defence to attack. Or to win the ball back and transition it then. He does this via his strength and dribbling.

However there are other ways of doing this. Incisive and quick forward passing is another. This is what Grealish could bring. So could winks.

I think there is something in that insta post, especially after the info here a couple of days ago.
Yeah, don't see why he'd bother making it black and white or make such a nostalgic comment if he wasn't saying goodbye. Especially given the speculation about him being on the brink of a move.

Well, the punters feel differently: (I don't recall this being a no-no but if it is, please let me know and I'll remove it).
