Well to be fair Sweden did have a couple of chances and if it wasn't for Pickford I think they could of scored. That move near the end they made was nice. We done a job but i thought we started the Match very very poor. Walker is getting lucky every game. He makes at least two big mistakes a game.

Likewise, Sterling could have had a hat trick. It's just another example of it always being "our fault" - a failure of our defence - when the opposition nearly scores and always being "our fault" - a failure of our attack - when we nearly score. We see the same fallacy being aired about Spurs in every match thread and post-mortem.

We dominated the last 70 minutes of the match and were clearly the superior team.

What because I don't think we actually played that well?

I wouldn't say we were the much Superior team. I think we were better at set peices and just had a little bit more but to say we we're really good is wrong. It was an awful game to watch. We did a job against a

Because you’re waffling bollocks, trying to pick apart a performance with very few actual flaws. Just won a World Cup quarter final in the first time in however long and you’re trying to dissect something for no reason. You even had to throw in a Walker bash, which is trademark B-C.

I’m not saying B-C waffles bollocks - that’s just you. But you’re trying to give some tactical analysis like he does, just you’re completely wrong and your justification seems to be that Sweden had some chances - did you expect a complete shut out in the World Cup quarter final?

Ok so who gave away the penalty in tunisia game ? Walker and don't tell me it was not, a deffo pen.

Who has gave it away in dangerous areas in the other games but somehow got it away it. Walker.I can't remember now but there has been a few times he has done it.

I said we did a good job yesterday and it was good we won but I thought we started very Shakey, we was not passing the ball around quickly like we have been. As I said this is the most excited I've been to watch England. I thought it was a very boring game yesterday but we did the job and won. Sterling played well apart from his finishing and his decision making. That touch he made was lovely from Henderson's ball I think it was.

Pickford is the best keeper we have had in my years of watching England.

Unfortunately there will always be idiots, even in times of celebration, there's just nothing that can be done about it.
Unfortunately as long as there are Social Media accounts like those "Real Casuals" shitbags who encourage and applaud it, a section of wankers will do it for the exposure.

I see the IKEA tweet on this page and it's a classy response but I'd be fucking livid if I was the store owner.

This World Cup has been great. It’s made me hate the Scottish and Welsh again. Complaining about pundits on the BBC or ITV talking about England, bitter twats. Sweden, Colombia, Tunisia etc flags in their twitter names - virgins. Not all of them obviously.

Scousers too. Can’t just enjoy the run, they have to have something to feel aggrieved about. This time it’s that Henderson should be captain/is the real captain feel down.

Also, made me hate a fair old whack of English people too. The ****s that smashed up Ikea and the ambulance should be arrested. Has to be some dodgy bunch of idiots that ruin what has been such a weird and pleasant change in national sentiment.

Can't wait till 2030 when all the Scots and Welsh having yet again failed to qualify have to add Uzbekistan and Burkina Faso flags to their bios because they're in England's group.

All he said was it wasn't a wonderful performance, and I'm far from the only person who thinks Walker is flawed. He's hardly gone to town with tactical analysis. In the match thread, loads of people were decrying the standard of the football churned out for much of this game, especially the first hour or so. It was pretty turgid stuff. I think we've all acknowledged that there's some good qualities to this England team, and just about every other team in this competition has also been criticised - we are not saying England are the only flawed team.

So this great World Cup has fundamentally just made you hate everybody? Are you a scouser?

Still, after all these years, probably my favourite Spurs player. Broken-hearted when I heard he'd gone to Marseille.

Being a Spurs-supporter I`ve always sympathized with the English team in a way. And I guess Norway is the country in Europe outside England itself where England would find most support. When it comes to this years world cup, I`m not sure if this english team is good enough. I would like to see England in a final, and a final with France vs England would be historical and great. But , I would like to see teams in the final that deserves to be in that final. And when it comes to this english team I`m still not convinced. I guess from an english point of view too, you wouldn`t like it to be the big exception if England go to the final (like Greece in 2004)- but you would probably want the rest of the world to feel that this english team really deserves to be there..?! I hope England beat Croatia in a convincing way in the semi and score goals. Then this can be something to be proud of. First of all Sterling needs to improve!

I've only watched one England game in a public place this WC and I fucking hated it compared to watching it at home or at friends.

Why are the English intent on ruining everyone else's experiences in pubs etc?
