Croatia have needed extra time and penalties in both of their knockout games so far. Hopefully this will start to effect them in the semi final as the game goes on.

I am. Until you see stupid shit like this from some morons.

Jesus wept - we never lose that thug mentality do we? I saw up in borough market complete idiots celebrating by jumping up and down on an emergency response vehicle. From what I read, there was a lone female occupant in the car at the time!! Our behavior is completely unacceptable and is at the point of tarnishing what has been a brilliant world cup for us so far.

Unfortunately there will always be idiots, even in times of celebration, there's just nothing that can be done about it.

Well to be fair Sweden did have a couple of chances and if it wasn't for Pickford I think they could of scored. That move near the end they made was nice. We done a job but i thought we started the Match very very poor. Walker is getting lucky every game. He makes at least two big mistakes a game.

Likewise, Sterling could have had a hat trick. It's just another example of it always being "our fault" - a failure of our defence - when the opposition nearly scores and always being "our fault" - a failure of our attack - when we nearly score. We see the same fallacy being aired about Spurs in every match thread and post-mortem.

We dominated the last 70 minutes of the match and were clearly the superior team.

Out for the four left, are we the team with the youngest average age?

I recall that we were one of the 2-3 youngest sides at the start of the tournament, so yes.

We've heard it said several times that this is the last chance to win something for this generation of Croatians and Belgians. And I'm sure the French have a higher average age than we have.

I was really impressed yesterday.

Managed the nerves really well and controlled the game for the most part.

If Sterling could find his City form, we'd be coasting these games and Harry would be getting a few more chances. If it does click for Raheem, football is coming home.

For what it's worth, I thought Henderson gave everything to make up for his penalty miss and, as much as I love him, I can't see Dier playing the same role in this England formation - a lot of ground to cover by one player.

If a few more players could hold onto and use the ball like Kane towards the end, we'd have coasted it.

Really fucking proud of this group though, and still feel they're holding back slightly. Come on England!

Solid performance and we still have players who haven’t even hit top gear yet. Sterling, Dele and maybe even Lingard all have the ability to win a game with a big performance.

It’s exciting we’ve made it to the semis and some players haven’t even hit top form yet, there’s more to come and I think we’ll see it next week.

This World Cup has been great. It’s made me hate the Scottish and Welsh again. Complaining about pundits on the BBC or ITV talking about England, bitter twats. Sweden, Colombia, Tunisia etc flags in their twitter names - virgins. Not all of them obviously.

Scousers too. Can’t just enjoy the run, they have to have something to feel aggrieved about. This time it’s that Henderson should be captain/is the real captain feel down.

Also, made me hate a fair old whack of English people too. The ****s that smashed up Ikea and the ambulance should be arrested. Has to be some dodgy bunch of idiots that ruin what has been such a weird and pleasant change in national sentiment.
