See Dortmund reported as sniffing today.

Would be really nice if we could get £20M + Sancho, or some such deal.

We shouldn’t be selling him at all
That may or may not be so, depends on who else is available... regardless, there was ITK early doors that VW whilst not explicitely on the "out" list, was available at the right Price (you could of course argue 'at the right price' is true of any player).

I got the impression the club were mindful of the injury he suffered and were at least keeping an open mind depending on availability of potential targets.

Definitely want him to stay. I think Dier always has a brain fart up his sleeve. I know Poch loves him but for me big Vic is better hands down.

That's obviously very concerning considering the uncertainty with Dembele's transfer and Winks' injury history. Add in now Wanyama's uncertainty with his knee and you've really only got one reliable midfielder in Dier. I think the rumored "change in tactics" is likely Eriksen operating deeper/more central, but the proposition of only having Dier to operate in that defensive midfield/shielding role is a bit frightening. Hopefully Wanyama is fine and this is just a precautionary thing to avoid something more serious.
