Am I the only one who is quite content at not signing Jack Grealish and Zaha? One is a bit of a dick at a Championship club and the other will cost 70m oh and both play positions we're stacked at.

Depends if you're also content with potentially having no one as the consequence. Having Zaha will keep our attack looking quite potent even in Kane's absence as well as being another threat with Kane and Grealish is a talent in a position we're not greatly blessed in, if he is to play slightly deeper.

I'm not sure this is a stage where we can get overly picky to be honest.

Latest ITK...oh dear. Never mind. Watching a cracking flick.

Think the latest ITK is a positive spin. Too many on here are getting their panties in a twist and thinking everything is over. This seems to sujest not to judge on the lack of transfers just now as there will be movement and wait and see who we do get, if anyone come the close of the window.

Will Pochettino walk? Try talking about it in the Pochettino thread. I know, I know, it's a novel concept and one that's difficult to grasp but I'm here for you. We will be raffling off a single brain cell sometime next week. The winner can double his IQ at a stroke.

The problem is, it previously belonged to Yankspurs and you'll end up talking like Joe Pesci. He's down to a half of one now. Took one for the team.
To add on to this, it’s this brain cell that drives you to drink. So you might become an alcoholic if you win the raffle. Thank you, Spurs

I really hope this means

Don't judge Levy yet, the man's going to do us proud.

Make sure you get sharpening your pitchforks.

The Pessimist Spurs fan in me tends to agree with Spartan though.

Why do you care how much he costs? It makes no odds to you. Zaha would be a fabulous and dynamic addition to the squad. I bet you also moan that we rarely have a net spend too!

All I want is to sign a few players that immediately improve the first XI. Arguably we haven't done that since signing Toby (Sanchez wasn't better than what we had when we first signed him but has gone on to be an astute signing).

I pray we get a couple of players in this week, before the deadline looms, as Newcastle and especially Fulham will be harder than most people expect.

Uh because the bigger his price the bigger the total impact on our overall transfer budget. If you're spneding 70 million on Zaha then it then limits how much you can spend on the true weakspots of the squad.

If we really have around 150m to spend, which it’s been confirmed by itks numerous time so I don’t doubt, and can’t/decides not to sign our primary targets for whatever reason next week...then Levy might be obligated to spend the money on one special player which we have interest but think we can’t get before?

Not holding my breath on it at all of course.

Im going out on a limb here but I wonder if waiting to the close of the transfer window before slagging off the Chairman might be the best thing to do.

It does feel like levy is trying to line up as many potential deals as he can and cherry pick the right ones on the last day/days of the window. It's a bold move and not surprising we will have targets picking to move elsewhere. I really hope this works out. Im sceptical to say the least.

Your being very kind calling it a bold move, I would call it bloody stupid , trying to be too clever by half and dangerous in today’s transfer market.
