you moan about ST prices, and then expect the club to pay a player we don't want his wages each week just because United won't sell us a player.

I still cannot understand United's refusal to sell us any of their players, but are quite happy to sell to Chelsea.
This, I reckon Toby and his crew were never planning on a new contract with us.Its pretty obvious we signed sanchez and foyth for this scenario. Last summer we were all moaning we were signing 2 cbs when we had the best defence well here is the reason. Think we was only willing to add if we could get an exceptional talent i.e De Ligt.
How do you think it will be spent though? Remember we have to strengthen that much more too as we've strengthened a rival.
Lets not butter it, walker and toby are big losses the last two years. We are still not at the top table, we are an ajax/monaco buy young cheap sell high.
We need to make sure this money goes to good use.
Are we screwed with Toby leaving with no replacement? Yes. Cant really spin it. Foyth gonna step up from never playing a minute in the league to suddenly becoming a key player? CCV ready for PL level football? Cant move Dier as Wanyama cant stay fit and is Amos really ready for a good amount of PL football?
We need a CM, a CB and another AM by Thursday. We dont have non HG slots to use unless we dont name VJ, Janssen, Sissoko or Llorente in the squad and cant find homes for them in 3 weeks and even that would probably only open 2 non HG slots unless ive fucked the calculations leaving us short unless we sign Zaha or Grealish(both of whom look unlikely and the only hg we’ve really been linked with). This window has been calamitous. Levy needs to pull together a masterclass 4.5 days here.
I don't know how it will be spent. I don't see how anyone can predict anything in this transfer window. £60m is too good to turn down.

It's only good for non transfer spending - like on the stadium. The transfer market is relative so if £60m is the going rate for Toby it means getting someone else in will be equally as bad value. And we will have strengthened Man U in the process.
£60m for a 30 year old mercenary who, we've been told, threw his toys out of the cot and then took a dump on Poch? I'll take that all day so long as Poch gets what he wants with the money.
So you'd walk away from 50-60 million for a player who can leave for 25 next year?Look, I'm not against selling to united if they offer the right money, but if they won't deal, in regards to Martial them we should not be selling to United regardless of the money they are offering. I've given up all hope they will sign someone that will improve our side this window.
