Poch loves Lamela when fit doesn't he? The only reason he's out of the starting rotation has been fitness not "preferential treatment to others" hasn't it?
Difficult to say these days. He’s been injured for so long, either long or short term, that he seems to not start games. But hopefully he gets a run in the squad now because his commitment is definitely needed

Assuming that Poch will rotate the fullbacks, I'd select:

Keeper, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Wanyama, Dembele, Son, Lamela, Moura.

Dilemma over the last spot. Either Sanchez and go 3-4-2-1, or a desperation call for Llorente or Sissoko to fill the last spot in a 4-2-3-1.

Kane and Eriksen look in need of a breather. Both deserve to be dropped anyway as they've been total passengers recently (but it wont happen).

I’d rather not rest Kane with Son and Lamela available, as much as he’s clearly in need of one. At least these two can (hopefully) create a meaningful chance for him to potentially give him the confidence to start hitting some fucking shots at goal again.

The way we're playing at present you could just draw 11 names out of the hat, blind folded, and hope for the best outcome. I know that sounds pathetic, but it's the way I currently feel about our squad.

Thinking logically though, the 11 that do get picked have to improve dramatically in effort, drive and desire to stop this mini rot.

That's what everyone thought after he scored against Fulham and Man Utd, it didn't make a difference.

He's physically and/or mentally tired which to me means he should be sitting out of matches altogether, I want to see him dropped for maybe 2/3 matches because I think we can cope without him but we all know he won't be dropped.

I don't think it's about lack of service and scoring goals suddenly putting him back at the top of his game. He's scored plenty for us and England in the last six months and the problems persist.

I'm prepared to say that I'm at the point where I don't want him playing again until he has got back the mentality, as well as the energy, to press from the front and put in a shift for the team. After that he can focus on running the channels, peeling in behind as and when, competing and roughing up defenders, and being a nuisance. After rediscovering those two aspects to his game, which we desperately need and is causing big problems at the moment, then we can come on to the quality of what he does with the ball and goals scored - but even if the rest of the team isn't functioning at it's most fluent currently, I'd bet a lot of money if he got some running back in his game he'd suddenly find himself in far more goalscoring situations over a 90 minutes than he has been recently.

If Dele is fit, he’s the one.

I wanna see both Rose and Aurier play together so we can have speed on both sides at fullback. Seems like its always Davies and Aurier or Trippier and Rose. Lets go back to having speed on both flanks.

Gazzaniga

Sanchez - Toby - Verts

Tripps - Winks - Wanyama - Davies

Lamela - Eriksen

Son

Looks good to me, but can't see him playing 3-4-3. Would like to see it though, better than playing with two up as we have been doing recently, which I'm not overly keen on except in certain games.

I was hugely optimistic for the liverscum game. This game im slightly pessimistic and all downbeat about it. I was excited about the CL but just feel like this will and could determine how we progress over the next few games not only in the CL but in the PL

I need to fuckin snap out of it.

We need to get back to basics. I want our front four to be Lamela, Son, Lucas and Kane. I would put Eriksen in the middle but the problem is i dont want to leave out Dembele but Dier/Wanyama have to play. Thats the only dilemna.

Id also play Aurier and Rose

Id play Gazzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa in goal.

Rotate, we are as stale as ... Umm something fuckin stale.

Vorm
Toby Sanchez verts
Trippier Wanyama Davies
Lamela winks Moura
son

Solid at the back, don't concede and we can easily nick a goal.
They lost at home to Parma, they are average

Dier, Vorm, Trippier, and Kane need a rest to reflect their lack of performance on the weekend. On that basis I have

Gazz
Aurier, Toby, Vert, Davies
Wanyama, Winks
Moura, Lamela, Eriksen
Son

However I really worry that Wanyama is anything like the old Wanyama

He won’t be. Think he’s out for at least another week and as much as I love his presence, I don’t think we should rush him back given his continuing injuries

In that case I’d go for this:

Gazzaniga
Aurier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Wanyama Dembele
Moura Lamela Son
Llorente

Vorm Sanchez Davies Dier Winks Eriksen Kane
