Amazed Lamela is on the bench. Love Son and Lucas but there are 0 playmakers in a line up facing a team that will sit deep. Pace will not be the answer here.

That team is heavily reliant on Son and Moura beating men and creating, because i can't see any other creativity there.

Thought it was imperative that Lamela played especially with the absence of Eriksen. Normally we look very bland without Eriksen and an extra defender instead of Lamela doesn't fill me with massive confidence with that in mind. Need big games from Son, Lucas and Kane.

Seriously i'm getting supremely fucked off at Poch continuing with Dier and Dembele both together in a two - compounded with playing a three at the back which will isolate our attack even further.
No Alli is a blow but the players were there to compensate (Lamela/Winks)
I've seen this story before but whether Huddersfield are capable enough to take advantage remains to be seen.

Jesus christ you lot are such a negative bunch...so much complaining! Why dont we see how the team starts the match before we lay into the formation etc.

Yeah that's my concern, especially if Kane continues his lack of influential ways. Lucas can't do it all on his own and you never know with Son, if he's gonna be on point or too erratic.

Also maybe they are not set up to play as WF's but if they are it seems a bit odd playing two Wing forwards and Wing backs.
Could just be getting in each other's way all afternoon.

Because we don't have good enough squad options in AM and up top, meaning with Dele and Eriksen out we only have four decent players there - Kane, Lucas, Son and Lamela. We can't play all four all match today, and against Barca, and next weekend etc, so we have to use 3 at the back.

And so much for start at zero and meritocracy. Because based on this seasons performances, Trippier and Davies shouldnt be near the 18, let alone clearly rotating starting. Trippier and Davies on the abysmal form their in starting vs Barca? I wont be taking off work for the shelling we’ll get with that. Madness.
