The points are definitely all that matters at the end of the day. Obviously Huddersfield are poor and we will play plenty of teams that will punish our mistakes. Hopefully we will settle into a rhythm as the games go on.
I wonder if part of the set-up today was to prepare for the Barca game.

What worries me a little is our performances seem to suggest we aren't as good as our points tally indicates. We will challenge for top 4 but it already looks like we don't have a title challenge in us and that is really disappointing. From Levy downwards, it's a massive massive disappointment.

I remember the old days when we would give our all and still lose by an unlucky goal and we'd all say why can't we be like United, even when they play poorly they know how to win. Those were the days.

We’re currently in a CL spot despite playing relatively poorly so far. Just wonder how we’ll do when we start improving (which we will in time).

Lots of positive stuff to look forward to as the season progresses. (including waiting to find out who we sign in the Jan TW :cautious:)

To be fair did we really have a title challenge in us for the past 3 seasons I would say probably not as we are always a couple of players short, but on the other hand the team have pretty much reached it's ceiling with what we have and that is not too bad frustrating yes that we can't go further but still a decent position to be in.

Everyone has said that it's Liverpool who will challenge City, but I see a very good Chelsea team at the moment. I just hope the Europa League screws them up. I think we are doing OK and are gearing up to speed.

Chelsea seem to be improving game by game. If they get in a better striker in the next window, they could definitely challenge for the title.

Liverpool seems to have hit their peak and I don’t see them improving. Unfortunately, I don’t see them getting any worse either.

Except they've drawn their last 2 matches and are seemingly over reliant on Hazard to get them goals.

Willian struggling to adapt to the new system and Kante popping up in the box and out wide is neutralising the assets he does have when played centrally. Add to that the europa league campaign and I think that they are going to be a good 10 - 15 points away from the title. More realistically challenging us and arsenal and united for top 4 with Liverpool coming second.
