Indeed, having now had the chance to see replays there is no doubting the quality of the strike for the goal, but for reasons unknown, there are no slow motion stills or camera shots or replays of the ball going out after Lloris parried it. On Bt sport Martin Tyler commentating having seen mini edited highlights simply presumed it didn't go out I'm still convinced it did and that's not just because I'm a Spurs fan. Ironically and as per usual VAR is too late to potentially come to our rescue, and for all the good those officials are including the shop dummy of an official standing next to the line he was never going to alert the ref to it. I'm not saying it would definitely have been picked up by VAR but there's no doubt it would and could have been more heavily scrutinised and it would have stood a better chance of being ruled out than by those clowns, oops, did I mean to say officials last night.Glad someone else mentioned this. I thought at the time the ball went out. Can't believe more wasn't made of this, either by our players or tv replays etc. Not one shown anywhere that i've seen.
I think everyone was mesmorised with the goal and forgot to apeal. Odd.
