Why are we so wobbly all of a sudden, last year we breathed confidence?
Players are not rewarded with contracts. I mentioned it end of last season and I still didn't see any extension of contracts for those players who did so well for us last term.

We are not playing the economy of football and I think this is coming to bite us. Loyalty is shit in this sport now. Money talks.

We’ve picked up this strange habit this season of trying to control a one goal lead rather than kill a game off. Whenever we step into cruise mode, you just know an error is around the corner.

Putting the game to bed is much needed.

This is down to the managers input I'm afraid

That tippy tappy shit that led directly to our delightful goal?

It's fundamental to the way we play and has brought us much success. It's the mentality that really needs sorting out.

Tippy tappy with purpose is great - fine. Tippy tappy at 2-1 in your own half when 2-1 up and they were pressing - nope not for me.

Im not disagreeing with the mentality issue but tippy tappy doesnt stem from mentality, it stems mainly from direction from the Manager in my view but I dont know for certain.

Lol.
Should have beaten Inter.
Should have beaten PSV.
Should have done this.
Should have done that.
Still trying to find the bottle in this team.
Can anyone find the bottle?
No.
Because this team, when pushed comes to shove, we ain’t got any.
Obviously.

Although Utd ate not great he would definitely get backing as you can't see them issuing a statement that says we couldn't find anyone to buy so we bought no one it just would not and will not happen at a club like Utd as they would be a laughing stock.
Yup, he will get the backing he wants and they will match his ambitions. I feel ill, and so disappointed with the team and mentality.

Unbelievable, that is shocking. Shouldn't have been in cruise mode at just 2-1, again caught sitting on a one goal lead.

Then there's Lloris, I think he's a great keeper, but he is far from indispensable with all these mistakes he keeps making. Just overly rash

It's worrying, because you can take losing to decent teams, but PSV and Inter were both fucking shit and we failed to beat both of them. I think it just highlights how we're struggling as a team at the moment. We have enough quality to see us over most games, but we really lack the ability to impose ourselves as much as we should be.
But this sitting on a lead is this the players deciding to do it or is it coming from the bench.

dont forget we have west ham in the cuppapoo cup. I fully expect us to get done again by the spammers on game management like last year.
Time to book a winter break to a tropical island with no internet for a week or so i think.

can't blame Poch if he walks to UTD end of the season. Really pissed off with this team, and his ambitions are obviously higher than just qualifying for the CL which will be such a struggle this season.

I can faking blame him.

Whose bright idea is it to start time wasting when you're one up with a quarter of the game to go not for the first time for it all to blow up in his face

We seem to have this ability to fall on our sword everytime we got away with it against West ham as you say but tonight again let ourselves down.

We just seem to lack confidence, even though we're winning games, we're winning them by the skin of our teeth. We've gotten away with it in the last few weeks but we were exposed for what we are at the moment. Individual errors especially from Lloris. He done it against Barcelona and he's done it again tonight, its almost a carbon copy. Sánchez playing a suicidal ball to Alderweireld who then gets caught in possession. I could go on but I'm just gutted

Might want to make that until end of May 2019.

I'm convinced you get a massive stiffy when we lose a game. Its the only time you really come to life.

We seem to be using our luck in the PL games.

In most games you need a little fortune to see you through.

So? Isn’t 10-11 years enough? Or do I have to wait 50 years to say it
10 years ago we were just starting our ascent to get where we are now including Ramos's time here. Fucking hell people say some funny fucking shit on here.

Can't disagree with any of what you have said I just hope we are back in the CL next year but really not convinced that we will.

Very frustrating, totally our own fault. Haven't read the thread but we can't be moaning about decisions. We've now lost over two games to Juve, Inter away and failed to win this and all 4 games we have dominated and have had enough chances to win comfortably. It could prove to be a blessing in disguise if we win the Europa league , which if we take it seriously could happen. It would be just what the club needs and we are capable of winning that. As hard as it is to admit we aren't capable of winning the Champions League yet.
