It's like people live in La La Land on here and Twitter sometimes. 'Why doesn't Levy back Poch?' The stadium has been where non-critical resources have been going (essentially everything except payroll) in the the last few years. Levy doesn't have anything significant to back Poch with, and he's been spinning a million plates in the air to give him what he has done. The whole time Poch has been here we've had the issue of funding the stadium construction. That has a massive effect on available funds.
I still think that if Levy can bring home the naming rights deal when the stadium opens, it will change a lot of things. It will take care of a huge portion of the debt, and mean our repayments are very manageable in the medium term. I think he will put a lot more resources towards the playing squad at that time. But maybe that's just me being optimistic.
