Be hard to see how Foyth doesn't get opportunities in the prem now, I'll be annoyed if we don't give him the chance to break in.

to those that think we were poor - we started 10 different players from Monday night and most of them were fringe players or just back from injury. Its about what I expected.

I'm not sure if Kane would have thrived in a match like this or not, but strangely it was almost refreshing to not see him playing, like as if there was a bit more of a buzz about us when attacking and we were a bit lighter and nippier. Could have equally been because of the selected three behind the striker tonight, it's hard to tell.

This is either a poor attempt at satire or a poor attempt at analysis.

Sorry, I meant to post my analysis minute by minute (you know because my opinion matters so much and shows how good a supporter I am), but I got distracted by a football match.

Credit where it's due re Sissoko.

Actually feigned to shoot and did a delicate disguised through ball tonight. Didn't know/think he even had that in his locker

His trajectory is heading up.

Winks looked good again.

And we beat then two days after a hard game in their own 'manor' with a second string team... :D

Quest have highlights at 10.30

The full backs were fine IMO, KWP especially had a decent match, certainly enough to see them picked over the current starters
I can kind of agree on Aurier but I felt KWP was frighteningly outpaced and outmuscled by Antonio and positionally completely in the wrong place for their goal. First time I've seen him play and not been impressed.
I thought Wanyama was better tonight.
Definitely can't agree with this. Awful passing and movement on the ball, dispossessed in a few bad areas and not in the right place or strong enough in the tackle. I felt he wasn't in the game at all.

Who do you feel more confident with KWP or Tripper?

I think putting Aurier to LB and KWP facing Antonio pushed them to play more defensively. That was good, no point in rushing forward if quality is not there to do it properly, which is the case with Trippier and Davies. Back to basics ;)
