Quite a few articles in the press today stating that Sarri doubts Chelsea would tolerate 4 years without winning a trophy, like Tottenham have with Pochettino.

https://www.skysports.com/football/...-he-will-keep-job-at-chelsea-without-trophies

No mention that they are the original club who bought trophies, or that they broke the transfer record for a keeper in the summer. They should have higher expectations considering how much they've spent. The quotes have probably been taken a bit out of context but still.

I hope Poch has them pumped up for today and puts up a tactical masterclass (does occasionally happen). I really despise the club, their players (esp Hazard and Willian), their supporters, ex players (Cundy, Terry etc), everything about them.

Off topic. But does anyone else notice how the producers of live tv seem to now to do replays when the ball is still in play? This seem to be happening more and more this season. They show the replay and yet you can hear the game going on in the background. Its so fucking irritating.

For years I have been irritated when the ball is in play and they show the manager or a fan.

The ball is out of play so much that it seems unnecessary to show nonsense while in play.

In the US, it doesnt happen as much on NBC but does sometimes. But Fox is the king of it. Even during American football when theres stoppage after every play to begin with. You’ll miss a play or almost miss it because there so bad at it. Happens a few times every game no matter the sport. There producers are awful.

I think if we get good Aurier today that's a strong line up.

That three behind kane have established chemistry from last season, so think that's a good move given Lamela playing mid week.

We need a powerful midfield against Chelsea.

Just a pity Vertonghen isn't starting.
