I don’t think anyone is suggesting this ( I’m certainly not) but he has made a massive mistake prioritising Watford at home in the league vs palace away in the cup.
Football is about glory winning thing being adventurous not finishing 4 in the league
We’re fucked without top 4. Fucked.

Poch and/or Levy rather we get top 4 than win a cup. This won't change I am afraid.

The money you make from the champions league means we can't afford to miss out, plus with a new stadium coming Levy doesn't want to have no champions league football in that new stadium.

With the fixtures coming up, Poch had to play this team otherwise our top 4 place could be in jeopardy esp with Man Utd resurgence.

Pfft, just another distraction out of the way so we can focus on the league and Champions League. We’ve got this.

I know we lost and everything, but were we actually outplayed with 71% of the ball, losing 2-0, one of which was a stupid penalty, skying a tap in from 7 yards (GKN) and missing a penalty (KT)?

I hate match threads tbh.

Lamela created most chances, 4 and had third highest pass completion of 89%. Clearly wasn't our worst player.
Our attacking play went up another level when he came on. Unfortunately Lamela isn't someone you want in front of goal, but he was at least trying to force something happen. The rest of the attackers up there just shows the gulf in class between our starting 4 plus Lamela and the rest.

I think everyone, apart from possibly Trippier, knows who that was.

Edit: @Paolo10 I know you are Trippier's eternal champion, but do you genuinely think he had a good game? That he warrants his place? He has been awful for months now.

Honestly just need them to announce the final stadium delay to next season tomorrow and I'm all set for my wank session with sand paper.

How is Gazzanigga a positive? I've liked him in general but he made a major error in midweek, again today should really have kept the first goal out having got a hand to the initial shot, and having looked promising at penalties has had some shocking attempts at saving them. Well below his par so far for us.
How can you say he made a major error in midweek? If you set up to collect a ball and a deflection shifts its path there's very little you can do to adjust that quickly. Very, very harsh to blame him.

In fact pour whole post is utterly ridiculous. Goalkeepers aren't expected to save penalties, if anything he has a decent record for us.

We best finish top 4 now after throwing the cups away.
serious question marks have to be asked otherwise, especially if what @JJetset is true that Poch is the one blocking signings.
I am sure Poch is tired of bringing in players that aren't quality enough to be first team starters and than told in the next transfer window that our wage bill is too high and we need to shift some out before we can bring any in.

Shit, what more does Poch need to prove here. If he wants a player that is going to cost 40-50 million we need to make it happen for him. It's not like the guy is Mourinho or Klopp demanding multiple signings in that range. I mean, he's been carrying the company line for a year now on not signing anyone and going on with his job professionally.

Penalties are lotteries and today he made a reaction save that unfortunately fell onto Wickhams knee apart from that he made a few decent stops. As an understudy Keeper he continues to impress Saoirse and will be an admirable replacement for Lloris ,so yes Istand by my statement he was a positive !

I'm feeling very nostalgic these days. I feel like it's 1995 and I'm 16 again. Man Utd are beating everyone, Spurs are getting knocked out of cup competitions... takes me back.

We don't seem to have any money at all, Champions League nets us a minimum of 60 million, F.A cup is fuck all. There's a reason we choose to secure top4.

That’s great for the fat cats at the top not so great for the future when local kids start supporting Chelsea because spurs haven’t won shit for donkey years.
It’s not one or the other anyway good sides do both.
