Six changes to the team that started at Chelsea on Thursday night. Kieran Trippier, Juan Foyth, Kyle Walker-Peters, Oliver Skipp, GK Nkoudou and Lucas Moura come in for Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Ben Davies, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Erik Lamela. Good news sees the return of Victor Wanyama on the bench after a knee injury - his first involvement since starting in our 1-0 win at Selhurst Park in the Premier League back in November.

Match: ____ FA Cup - Round 4 (The Cup)

When: ____ Sunday January 27th 2019

Where: ____ Selhurst Park

Kick Off: ___4pm

Team Form: ___Palace LWWLL _____ Spurs WWLWL __(All Competitions)

We and Palace last met in the cup in the 5th round in 2015-16 with Palace winning 1-0 at White Hart line on their way to reaching the final that season. The last six matches between us and Palace in all competitions have all ended 1-0
(5 wins for us, 1 for Palace).

Since eliminating 4 EPL teams on their way to the 2016 final, Palace have lost their last 3 FA cup matches of this kind.

We are looking to reach the cup 5th round for a fourth consecutive season for the first time since doing so in five seasons in a row between 1978-79 and 1982-1983.

Since winning the competition in 1991, 25 of the 27 teams to knock Spurs out of the cup have been in the top flight, with the exceptions Leicester City in 205-06 and Leeds in 2012 - 13

Nice and early again Bullet. 'LIke'
.
I'm not saying the season hinges on this one but I'm of the generation that loved/loves the FA Cup before the SKY/PL combo devalued it. I doubt if I have watched half of the last 20 finals.
.
Enough of the misery already - COYLW's !

It can and yep but mind you, we have 1 less game now we didn't make the final and I'd rather be in than out at this point.

Just City United and Watford through with Chelsea playing today and wolves Brighton with replays. Massive chance if we win today could cruise to a final with a slightly favourable draw.

Yes I used to enjoy seeing all the build up to it was part of the day but has since been devalued when the PL started, might be a long time before we see spurs in a final again.

Not being negative or posting because we lost the semi-final earlier this week, I think palace have enough to beat us today. We lack pace on the counter which they have bags of upfront and in defence. Would love a win but have a bad feeling.

I will try not to mention it too much from now on I even stay off most match threads as some posters don't like passion or any complaints.

It doesn’t help that there’s so much football on tv and the final will almost certainly feature at least one of the other top 6 clubs. We already know everything about the players because they are on tv every week anyway, be it behind the scenes or actually playing.

Today’s FA Cup is all about the early rounds imo. It’s great Wimbledon and Millwall got through yesterday. Newport in the last round. The absolute highlight of the season for me are rounds 1-4 or 5 ( from a neutral point of view of course ) I enjoyed yesterday’s evening games more than any champions league game ( not featuring Tottenham ) I’ve ever seen pretty much.
It starts getting boring when it ends up with the same old sides.

Part and parcel of competing on all fronts I guess, but we're having to play a ludicrous amount of football at the moment.

Will we have Son back for this? If we do I doubt he would start as Poch will know he won't be fresh after his travels. Palace are a tough team to score past as all the 1-0 results prove. And with Dele and Kane out it makes it all the more difficult for us. Maybe Llorente will come into a bit of a scoring run after his great header against Chelsea. F.A.Cup is our best chance of silverware now.
