Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente speaking to Sky Sports: "I am really happy because today was a tough game. To help the team with a massive goal today is very important. More so after the past two games in cups that we lost. We needed to come back to winning ways."

On standing in for the injured Harry Kane: "It's a big responsibility. I'm ready to help the team and will be stronger every game."

On the abuse he has received from ignorant fans: "Yes for sure fuck those guys on Twitter and SC, clueless ****s."

Llorente is a pretty poor player and not really good enough for a club of our status. Can you imagine him playing up front for any of our rivals? Of course not. Tbh I’m not sure he’d start for any Prem outfit apart from us. Embarrassing really.

Fuck's sake :ROFLMAO:

Comments like this about a World Cup, European Cup and Serie A double title winner, this is what football fandom has become.

I'm so screwed.

I screamed so loud when Nando scored that I woke the baby, who sleeps in the next room. Full on screams and yells and when I'd calmed down I was sent straight in to calm the baby too. It's taken until now for me to succeed. The mrs is livid.

Is there a place worse than the doghouse? If so, that's where I am tonight and for a fair few nights I'd imagine.

Totally worth it.

Call me cynical, but I thought there was a big dose of desperation in Poch's subs today. Aurier off, Sissoko in his place, then Tripper on for him didn't make any sense apart from wanting to rest Sissoko. He should have just done a like for like in the first instance. The other two were more like "oh well let's roll the dice" subs imo.
But it was a little more complex - didn't he first want to introduce Moura to the pitch to give us more drive running at them? Then at a later point introduce Tripper presumably to get more balls into the box?

(I thought Moura was excellent today BTW and amazed at how Sonny ran himself into the ground for us.)

Watched it with my dad on a stream that was up and down like a prostitutes drawers. To be honest im still buzzing now and have adrenaline pumping through my veins. I love this team so much, we never seem to quit, its beautiful. Please though on Saturday can we go 4 nil up at half time, im not sure my dads old ticker can stand much more of this.

Would be lovely to win all our matches 6-0 - but I can be honest enough to say the feeling I get from "nicking it at the end" when all seemed lost is just the best feeling.

From Stalteri, Dier and Kane against West Ham, Winks against Fulham all the way to this Llorente goal tonight - some of my favourite and most memorable moments as a Spurs fan. Well done lads!

Loved the Swansea away game about 3 years ago. We were 1 down in the last 5 minutes and ended up winning 3-1

Today is the start of Pool's annual meltdown? We'll win the EPL; it's written in the stars.
Unbelievable character something we have been longing for, for years Winksy is class!!! We are the early KO sat so a win would put us a point in front of city in 2nd place, 4 behind the bin dippers. Most importantly 10 in front of Chelsea and Arsenal, 12 in front of the Manks. A massive game for us to put the pressure on all around us and see how they handle it. Well done tonight lads great 3 pts. Lastly I still believe it will only paper over the cracks in regards of depth in squad . Enjoy everyone and up the super Spurs done us proud after an awful week. Ps get in Nando well done buddy xx

I am pretty sure that same ball boy made another play in the first half. Seriously.

There was a play on the sideline, and I think Watford either ended up with a free kick or a throw - but either way, the ball boy was holding onto the ball until all the players got sorted out, and kept Watford from taking a quick restart.
