Want to say huge credit to Llorente. After those two earlier misses he could have shied away, but nope. He stuck at it and showed that if you get the delivery right he will do damage. Did nobody see his ball for Vertonghen first half, either? Or a bit of link up play early on with Sonny and Eriksen? Given a run of games and confidence, along with actual decent crosses, Llorente can be such a useful player.

Always had faith in him and never smiled so much as I did when he scored and saw the celebrations with Poch and all the players' reactions. They love him, and you know what? So do I. Sod the haters.

On a negative note, I cannot fathom how a Top 4 level club can bo so freakin useless with set pieces. It is beyond astonishing.

Great turnaround. That’s what should have happened in the Man Utd game but today we were more clinical.

My feet nearly have the feeling back in them!

Useless at set pieces, can't cross from open play, a striker who couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo, shit full backs, a dodgy keeper, a manager who keeps picking the wrong team, has no plan B and is inept at making subs.

Fuck knows. By rights we should be battling relegation. So either this thread knows the square root about fuck all or all those things aren't as bad as we like to make out.

I know which one I'm betting on :p

for all his good dribbling and ball carrying though every cross bar one (one very important one) was bad.
and it was a lot of crosses.
100% agree with this. He put many crosses in. The only correct cross was the final cross he put in first time without dicking around that Llorente consequently put in. Aurier. Eriksen. We’re all guilty of the same cross the skiddy bouncer. Which was very frustrating. But we got there.

Well, I think he's been awful for us, and I think that's a valid criticism. If you mean people abusing him, I agree.

The only thing been awful with Llorente is our tactics. Let's put it this way, we crossed the ball more when we had Defoe (and by cross, I mean real crosses to the striker not just kick it in the box)

I agree, cant remember the last decent corner Eriksen delivered. Commentary also said he hasnt scored from a free kick in over 3 years

The character of this team is unbelievable, could have felt sorry for ourselves at 0-1, no Kane, No Dele, half empty stadium, cold as fuck and a bad week but we do what we do constantly under Poch - we never give up.
