Now, Daniel, bring in a CM or another attacker and lets have a fucking go here. Nothing to lose. Everything to gain.

He ain’t gonna spend a single penny on a new striker now the one we have pops up and scores a Kane esque later winner !

Push the CM tho Poch!

What I don't understand is why, with Llorente leading the line and with Llorente being a man who scores a lot with his head, did we get so few crosses anywhere near him. A lot of the time we were playing the classic spurs build-up, on the ground, intricate passes to feet and great for Kane or Son to finish but not Fernando's strong suit. So many times we had the ball within crossing range and Llorente was frantically waving his arm for some service and nothing went in. I realise lobbing the ball up to a big man is not the modern Tottenham way (although Gilzean, Chivers and others could be lethal in the air) but now that we are missing Kane, Ali and (until tonight) Son we have to be pragmatic and play to the striker's strengths especially with Watford defending a lead with most men behind the ball. Ericsson could have chipped in to Llorente many times as could Jan, Toby, Winks and Aurier. Sissoko tried a few and thankfully Rose got a great cross in at the end.

God that win was so satisfying. Can't believe the amount of people who left with 10 minutes to go!

28 games without a draw.
I've posted before, but worth the repeat

Don’t know what to say, I really don’t. Only the spurs rollercoaster can have you completely on the floor one minute and on the ceiling the next.

I posted earlier in a moment of knee jerk despair that I’m done with football and it may be a healthy decision if I stuck to it. Supporting spurs, just my god. My heart feels like it’s keeping a 40 stone pizza chugging monster going.
