I Just read somewhere that after the Southampton game on the 9th of March we will have a 3 week break before the Liverpool game due to the FA cup and the international break.

Pretty sure that we’ll look to rearrange the palace game for the Wednesday before it was originally scheduled as I can’t see us wanting a 3 week break between games.

I think what’s more important is we don’t end up with that stupid situation when I think we had a match on the Thursday last week of the season.

Don't actually know whether I'd want to move into the new stadium any more this season. Wembley is a know factor now and to a certain degree we know how to play there. Playing for the first time on a new pitch in conclusive run-ins of the season, might not be a blessing.

Completely agree.

You know it would be typical for us to be going along nicely at Wembley and then shoot ourselves in the foot by moving to the new stadium and disrupting our flow.

That was the game we annihilated Leicester at their place. Kane wasn't long back from injury and was miles off the golden boot so scored 9 (I think) in our last 3 games.

Dont see how in our case tbh. It maybe new surroundings but the atmosphere alone would give us an extra boost whilst it would be a daunting prospect for opposition players. Its entirely different to spam for example who it totally hindered mainly due to most fans not being able to see the pitch as its so far away. Many of them had to go to specsavers and get sorted before they could even watch their team play there.

Would it be daunting to the opposing teams or would they be extra motivated to piss on our parade? I know West Ham would definitely love to.

Whats the problem with the Palace game on the 17th?

Noooooo this weekend has been boring enough with no spurs games, not 2 weekends with no spurs

I'm sure the new stadium, especially compared to Wembley this season, will be absolutely rocking. However, statistics do show that clubs moving to a new stadium experience an initial dip in home form. You could argue we had one last season, despite still being terrific, compared to our last season at WHL.
That’s just it. Should we risk it?

Given that we have a team full of internationals - they will be playing twice in a short span...

So you think Wednesday 13th March is a likley choice for rescheduling?

Either that or Tuesday 12th as both us and Palace play on the Saturday before. That’s just a hunch as it’s usually what happens at this stage of the FA cup as it’s either that or risking a back log of fixtures at the end of the season.
