Basing on strength of respective squads, recent form and location of the matches against pool & city, most people are rightly expecting us to get nothing from these two matches.
It would be a bonus if we get anything from either of these two matches.
We’re not going to win the league this season, so the most important thing is to qualify for next season’s CL. To do that we’d need to win all or almost all our other remaining matches.

Agreed, not a bad half at all and everyone's playing fairly well. If Sanchez just sticks to Firmino we're 0-0 and feeling really good about it.

Our possession play is so turgid. (Which for a possession team is not great)

In these big away games it is critical you stay in it and don't gift opportunities to the opponent. Still fuming at Lloris' abysmal kick out. Been doing it for years!! Shame after we made such a solid start to the game.

I agree, Liverpool look nervous at the back. If we actually focused and started playing properly then I think we could win. But too many of our key players are off the boil.
We are so bad passing it around the back, we seem to do it with no purpose whatsoever. No one prepared to take any kind of responsibility and pick it up of the defence and and play a forward pass. Better off to just lump it forward then continue what we are doing.
