We were 2-0 down so I started driving home from work. Almost crashed the car when the last goal went in
Man cave? Is that in Break Back Mountain?
Well you know you can’t watch the final now right??I switched off at 80mins and was doing a pee and heard the neighbours cheering and clapping and then rushed and turned the tv back on. I was still thinking that VAR would disallow it.
Exact opposite of what happened to me when the Bartman game happened to the Cubs. I left work bc I thought I was safe, then Bartman happened on my way home. Nearly ran into a tree.We were 2-0 down so I started driving home from work. Almost crashed the car when the last goal went in
Having just caught up reading this thread, I do wonder what the reaction will be if we do win the Champions League finals!Well you know you can’t watch the final now right??
I was in the away end. During injury time I always put a stopwatch on my phone, and I was in the process of turning it off as I didn't think we had time for another attack. I looked up as Llorente brought the ball down and everything after that is a blur. I have a vague recollection of rocking on the floor in front of my seat in the foetal position in a tearful daze, it was absolute madness and chaos.
My fucking network adapter decided to freak out, obviously in anticipation of the coming furore, and so my BT stream cut out. After an expletive led, frenzied re-enabling, I reconnected to the broadcast only to see Lucas being mobbed on the deck, Pochettino ballooning about the pitch, with Jermaine Jenas sobbing over the microphone. I was mouth agape for about 5 minutes.
