My mate made a quite good point. He probably single handed cost us 5+ points last season. Get a good one and they might earn us 3/4 points. That’s a major boost for a side that has other major areas of improvement to come like centre midfield.

Add Liverpool & Chelsea to the list and I fancy our chances for the EPL next year!
If we're doing that, can we just add all 19 other clubs, just to be sure? I don't trust Spurs, we'd probably come second to Aston Villa or some shit.

We're selling him, because unlike a lot of our players we'd like to shift, there's interest in him and a good fee coming back.

I don't think the club thinks he's shit, but they recognize that 25m for a soon to be 29 year old RB coming off a dodgy season is incredible value.

I haven't seen anyone really touch up on this or either I missed it but if Trippier is so shit why are CL aspiring teams like Juventus and Napoli interested in him? Or are they so dominant in their leagues that they don't mind his defensive shortcomings and will go with someone else in europe.

Trippier is far more suited to football in Italy. The game is slower and less physical. Trippier isnt a bad player, hes certainly been way below par this season, but its more to do with him just not being suited to our game/the league. He'll do fine in Turin.

I think Trippier could be the best fullback in Italy. The slower and more technical/tactical nature of the football in the Italian league will suit him perfectly. He's not played well for us at times, but he does struggle with the pace and physicality of Premier League football.

He might actually be encouraged to use his greatest weapon and start crossing again - something he seemed terrified of doing for large chunks of last season.

Anyone trying to defend him clearly haven’t watched us much this season lost count how many goals he cost us .... wolves away .... city at home .... Chelsea away .... that’s just of the top of my head! Also every single team targets him now champions league final first ball straight out to his side. We need to sort right back big time
Only last season matters?

He will be decent for Juve if he plays RWB with the right players around him. I've always thought he struggles a lot more in a back four.

Was listening to Full time devils from a few days ago and there was an interesting piece involving us. I don't exactly how good the information is but they have had a right back over at their place to talk with him and his agent. Before he went there however, he was at our place. Supposedly a Trippier replacement.

Word is he doesn't want to leave England but surely anyone would be tempted by Juve. You're practically guaranteed to win the Scudetto, you get to play alongside Ronaldo, the food is amazing and you're playing under one of the greatest coaches of all t...

...sorry got a bit carried away there.

I agree but he does have a young kid so that’s going to be in his mind. I guess he could go there for two years and then come back to England. I’d be surprised if he turned them down once he’s weighed up the pros and cons though.
