Isn't cryptic usually because it's not in the public domain? So (Mad) Maxi Gomez would probably fit the bill a bit more than Aarons and the Sess bros as they have done the rounds recently. Gomez links have been quiet for a while now.

Gomez has been strongly linked to WH and Valencia but a deal hasn't happened for some reason. I wonder if this ties in with Hercs comment about us being preferred options of other london clubs targets?
