Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
What happened with Jol? first manager I can remember going was Harry
Feel like Poch is suffering a bit of burn out, I don't think he needs to walk away, I reckon a few honest conversations from Levy and the players will get him to emotionally overcome his current melancholy. This season won't take it's toll like the last.
Thanks for the opportunity. Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
If Poch does walk away, I'm not sure it'll have much to do with Levy. As he's been backed.
That said, I really have a hard time seeing him throw in the towel. Seems a really strange thing to do at this stage. There's not a great deal of logic to him wanting to go. Only would make sense if it was for a new challenge (nothing open at the minute), or he's burnt out and needs a break. The latter I can relate to... I'd imagine we all can. It's a pressure cooker job, and high on stress. So, unless he's really down in the dumps and can't take another day in the office, then it's really hard to understand why he'd even consider leaving.
An actual Porsche or whoever that era’s version of Kia Havertz was?Story was that apparently he went speaking to Newcastle behind the scenes, Levy bought him a Porsche and he was allegedly a ungrateful about it and sold it on almost straight away, which pissed off plenty of people at the club.
@KETTERING SPUR - it's a fact that was confirmed by Jol, so no idea why you are disagreeing with reality.

He sold the Porsche as he already had the exact same one.Story was that apparently he went speaking to Newcastle behind the scenes, Levy bought him a Porsche and he was allegedly a ungrateful about it and sold it on almost straight away, which pissed off plenty of people at the club.

Always the way with a certain section of our fanbase unfortunately.I personally think this is all blown out of proportion and he wont be going anywhere this season. The negativity from the fanbase and on these forums is dripping through into the press and will only make matters worse
Trippier did not take Walkers place in the national team. We played 3 at the back when Southgate took over. Walker right side CB Trippier right wing back, which is his best position. Great crosser of a ball, apart from last season when he was either injured or crap. Trip back in the squad today. If he plays full back in a 4 he will be exposed by top quality wide players. Don’tthink He will meet any from Bulgaria and Kosovo. To note:
1) Walker is strangely the subject of odd romanticism. He name was and still is regularly associated with the word 'brainfart', and I'm not buying the 'substantial downgrade' bit.
Since 2013/14 until he left, he had 10 PL assists and 2 goals in 107 PL games.
From 2016/17 until he left, Trippier had 13 PL assists and 1 goal in 63 games.
Trippier had a "bad" season last season, but there's a reason he nabbed Walker's RB spot for the national team.
2) I don't see how that's on topic with the suggestion that we've regressed as a team.
That's before you take into account that we've added a lot of quality in the last few years. It's exactly as Poch explained, that we started waiting for good players rather than signing any old plodder.
I can't agree with any implication that signings like Son, Sanchez, NDombele, Moura and Lo Celso (leaving Sissoko out, as unsure whether he's a good example) are somehow a symbol of squad regression. Beyond Kyle Walker, we've pretty much only sold either plodders or, unfortunately, crocked players.
I really hope this isn’t true. I want Pochettino to pull through this spell and get us back playing how we know we can. I’m dreading tomorrow’s press conference though.....”So Poch are you leaving?” “Rumour, I don’t discuss rumour”
