I sincerely hope that people on board realize and acknowledges what a (potentially) class CB we have in TG. (yes, TG as in Antony Gardner!) He has all the right ingredients, from size to skill, of becoming the ideal partner to Ledders in the heart of thour defence.

This will also enable playing Kaboul further up the field.

Yeah yeah, I know... It might help if he (and all the other defenders) are not injured all the time:bang:

Shame he can't stay fit for more than 3 games. He is a good centre back, certainly more talented than Dawson or Kaboul defensively. Plus he's naturally a leftie so can slot in as left CB well.

He could never pass a medical anywhere so we can't flog him, will always be a good squad player to have.

He's one of the few players to come out of last night with any credit. Looked far more composed than kaboul.

What was his injury? I coudn't quite see what happened from the Park Lane but i'm pretty sure i saw him pick up the ball in mid run before slam dunking it above our goal, injuring his leg in the process.

Is that what happened?

Gardner get in the way of your kiddy pics again, Dougal?

Not my fault they made the North a bloody family stand. And as you can see from the pic it shouldn’t be called the North Stand anyway! They can’t even get that right... :snooty:

I thought Gardner was atrocious. And then came last night! Shows how much i know about football! Where did that confidence come from - great stuff. Sadly Jol goes on the night he makes his best team selection of the season.

he's cr*p, too clumsy, minimum 1 severe error per game, bench player.

it's sad that he got injured again though.

Gardner is very unlucky. He is a good CB. Very unlucky last night, he finally dropped Dawson for Gardner and Gardner gets injurded he also was playing well.

I would also put stalteri back in there.
