He's been interviewed just a few minutes ago in Radio MARCA.
He reckons that Tottenham has had good players in the past years but had lacked direction, and were not always faithful to their attacking phylosophy.
They asked him about the squad he has inherited. He declined to go into detail because "he has only been two days at the job". He said that his first job is to get the players confidence back, and once his style of play is being implemented he will decide who is good enough to play the style he wnats to play. They asked him what style he wants for his new team. He anwsered the same style he has always played: attacking football at pace.
About whether he'd buy Spanish players he stated that he is fond of good players regardless of where they come from.
He also said that he was happy to be given 4 years, so that he has time to implement his style.
On signings he said that he had an input of 25% with other three people making decissions, the director of football, the chairman and someone else I didn't get. He said that the club's structure was close to clubs in Spain than the typical English club.
On Comolly (Sp?) he jokingly said that he chose him so they had a good professional relation.
Forgot to say. He denied that he said that he wanted to buy Alves and Kanoute. Since he joined Spurs he hadn't talked to any journalist until the press conference of today.
