Good God, but this is truly dreadful stuff. I honestly have to go back to George Graham or the latter part of Gerry Francis' reign to remember a time when we were so lacking in any ambition. We had worse performances but even then there was some intent. This has been truly woeful against such poor opposition.

Depressing stuff for all involved.
Ha I was talking to my dad today and he also brought up Graham. I agree, it's so negative and bland.

Quite an achievement really to make Bournemouth look like more of an attacking threat. They probably don't need a keeper. Worst game I've seen since Monday.

Under Mourinho United were scared to play with freedom and attack. As soon as he left the looked like a different team. Solskjaer is obviously not some tactical or coaching genius, so there's one common denominator here.

Our front line haven't pressed the ball once. The Bournemouth backline have been free to take Ll the they want. It's obviously been instructed and I can't for the life of me understand why. Our middle has been safe, negative on the ball, yet complacent (which is not what you want really). Aurier and Sissoko doing the job that should be one mans as usual. Horrendous display so far today but actually not bad compared to this season as a whole.

I've tried to keep positive, but we look like we have absolutely no idea , very worrying. Again, poch worked miracles with this squad. Last seasons form under poch was a real reflection of this team, before that was unbelievable achievement

Stuck Toy Story 2 on for the kids so I could watch the game in peace. Started slowly, not much threat but was really picking up there in the last 10 minutes.

Pretty sure Buzz is going to rescue Woody.

Sack the fraud. This isnt worth watching let alone effective. Kane wont hang around to spend 90 minutes defending in his own box against bournemouth. We must have the worst midfield in the league. Sissoko and winks together are so bad. Neither wants the ball. Awful performance

Winks and sissoko bang average players
I feel sorry for Winks. He’s trying to get on the ball but there’s zero movement infront of him. All he can do is ping it to Aurier and wait for it to come back as Bournemouth ball.

Right this very second Mourinho is angrily throwing about random platitudes about "desire" and "mentality". Hopefully it somehow fixes our offensive structure like some magic harry potter spell.

Mate this is the worst performance since probably 2013 IMO. We look genuinely dreadful and any team who could attack would rip us to shreds we’re just lucky it’s Bournemouth. Sunday is going to be painful.

I dunno. The bayern 7-2 (even taking the score out of it) was really, really bad. We literally couldn't complete a pass.

I want to see a midfield 3 of Ndombele playing more advanced, Lo Celso slightly deeper and one of winks or Sissoko. There's no link between the midfield 2 and the front 4, Harry seems to be dropping deep to be the link.
Might improve things slightly, but let's be honest we are never going to be a good team under this outdated dinosaur.
