I think head over heart I was initially thinking, at this stage of his career, that the time had passed for a Bale return to be totally positive.
But quite frankly, as a fan, if you can't let the heart rule when it comes to your team then it's a boring, joyless process.
The excitement that we are feeling will be mirrored by the lads in the changing room.
Injuries, fitness, form.... it might all end in tears... but to dare is to do...

Never in a million years thought this would happen. Can’t stop thinking about where he’s going to play and that first game against Arsenel. Going to be mad. Only thing I’m sad about is him playing in front of a empty stadium, hopefully that will change soon. Man, can’t wait for that first interview too.
