How's Danny Rose doing in terms of development? From all I've heard he seems a pretty hot prospect. How far from 1st team duties is he? Not that I think we should play him, just general curiosity.

Every chance he's been given he's looked like a clown so, unless Wendy can drag something out of him that Martin couldn't, i expect he's playing to keep him sellable as soon as we find someone willing to shell out a couple of mil...

A huge risk before new years? Behave! If he's fit enough to play competitive matches that's that. If his consultant is happy for him to train fully and play then an extra few weeks wont make the blindest bit of difference.

Spot on!

I don't think that many people actually understand the way such things work. He will have been doing light training, jogging, swimming etc for probably 6-10 weeks before he would be allowed near to a ball. He would have then done some gradual twisting and turning and light ball work for at least 2 weeks before he would have been allowed anywhere near first team training. Then he would have had to train with no adverse reactions for at least another week before he would be considered for the reserves.

He is now fully healed and must have been for at least the last 2 months and he is as fit as he is going to get short of actually playing games. Unless he has a bad reaction to playing he will be considered for first team football like anybody else.

I suspect that he will make the bench Sunday, all being well, and will probably get a run out and he will be starting by next week, as will Rocha.

Half-time: Fulham 0-0 Spurs

46mins: King and Rocha replaced by Dervite and Riley.

Either they're being protected and brought back slowly, or they'll be slotted into the 1st team ASAP.

Weird line up. One attacking central midfield palyer, three wingers and two strikers. Presumably one of the wingers (Rose?) was playing central midfield, but even so it looks light weight. Unneccessarily so, since central midfield is Joe Martin's preferred position and Berchiche could have played leftback. I wonder if Ramos wanted to take a look at Andros Townsend.
