The more optimistic I get, the more I realise that’s all going to evaporate the minute the game starts & city are knocking the ball about for fun ?

I went for a Spurs win. I don't know why. All evidence would suggest a turgid display and a limp 2-0 or 3-1 loss.

I wouldn't complain as long as we play positive and have a proper go at them; Man. City are one of the best teams in Europe so there is no shame in losing. Playing like a bunch of pussies and not even trying in a final would make me sick though.

I thought the same about Ledley in '08. Just as Ledley lifted the cup over the stadium PA came the fucking Ting Tings to ruin the moment.

I hate the thoughts of watching Spurs loosing another cup final, I've seen to many of them now.I hold out hope in the fact that in 2008 Chelsea were the top team of that time full of top players and no one gave us a hope but we won it..and if we do win i'm going on the piss and ringing in sick on Monday...coys.

Don't care. If we have a proper go at them at score at least 1 goal it'll be better than our last few finals where we've not scored a goal. And the CL final in particular that we wasted about an hour of that game passing the ball between the center backs showing 0 ambition to score a goal.
You don't win a final without putting the ball in the back of the net at least once

I think we’ll get scoring chances, and probably early in the match. Cup finals are always nervy. We capitalize, I think we’ll do them. Up to the players far more than Mason this one.

If we don’t concede two goals in the first 15 minutes, I think we will win.
Not being sarcastic. I just think they will come flying out the blocks, expecting we may be nervous, disorganized, and deferential. Pep knows there’s been a lot of change this week. And no time to integrate a completely different style of playing that is different from what has been drilled into these players for 18 months.
He knows they need to go all out blitz in the opening 15-20 mins, and try to get a couple, before we have time to adjust. He wants the game to be over by the 20 min mark.
So, if we go toe to toe and keep them at bay during that spell, it will give our boys a ton of self belief. Then, they’ll feel like they’re playing with house money. As they’re not expected to win. City are the overwhelming favorites. But, holding them off during that early period, in my opinion is key to winning the game. As that’s when the lads will settle, and hopefully play like they have nothing to lose. Just go all out and have fun.

I agrre wth, Doctor Dinkey, its feels liberating and feels kinda good, the pressure is off.
We are a decent side but were led by an eejit. Today mason will do his bit but today its all down to the players to self motivate and give it 100%. Maybe that decent side will turn up.

Goes without saying I really, really hope we win tomorrow. Kane on the pitch will be massive. No player is bigger than the club but at the same time there is no man that deserves to hold the trophy up high than he does tomorrow, it would be amazing to finally see him do it.
