We had an absolutely terrible season they had an amazing season by their standards finishing 3 points above us!
We didn’t have a terrible season. We were top at the start of December. We were terrible for the last 6 months.

I listened to that in the car earlier. He was a proper stereo typical West Ham fan. A bit too much if you ask me. Do you reckon it was a real caller or one of their staff joining in?

He said he wouldn’t play for us for £1 million per week if he were a footballer. It just sounded a bit suspect to me.
Who knows. I can’t believe a WHU supporter can understand the workings of a mobile phone and be able to use it. Most of them are on day release to watch the games and others are subject to in community care programmes. They may be allowed one call a week and get assistance to use the thing.

And all what ifs blah blah, but if we hadn't conceded 3 goals against them in 8 fucking minutes, we would have finished above them on goal difference

I keep seeing Arsenal fans mentioning how we should be embarrassed that we only finished one point ahead of them because it’s their worst season for years.

What do they think ours was? We were goddamn motherfucking awful for 3 quarters of the season and we still finished above them.

I’m more embarrassed that West Ham finished above us but at least their fans recognise that it’s been their best season for 1.6 billion years and our worst since the 90’s and they still only finished one place above us.

My gooner mate admitted he had 2 texts ready to send at the final whistle on Sunday. One was ‘haha, you’re shit, can’t believe we finished above you after the season we’ve had’ and the other was ‘haha, you’re shit, thank fuck we’re not in that Europa division 7 competition’.

****.
sorry bomber I gave it a red x for "my gooner mate"

At the darts tonight there were a couple of rounds of “stand up if you hate Tottenham/we hate Tottenham”

After the second one I took it upon myself to defend our club - stood up singing “stand up if you love Tottenham”.
I was the only one, but they never sang it again after that!

West Ham a bigger club, I’ve seen it all, they’ve won nothing since 1980, we’ve won 6 trophies since then. We finish below them once in what 10 years and this numpty thinks they are bigger, they don’t even own their stadium.

If West Ham finish above us next season, it won’t be because they are good, it will be because we hired the wrong manager and/or didn’t back them in the transfer market

Just let them have their day. They’re probably feeling as good as we did when we finally finished above arsenal. The only difference is that it won’t last for them.

The way people laugh about West Ham is the way that Arsenal and Chelsea laugh about us.

It’s fine. All good fun.

Arsenal fans fine, we are true rivals, although why you would do it at the darts I don’t know.

West Ham and Chelsea are just sad though, they are obsessed and can’t see that it is not reciprocated

We were terrible throughout the season even when we was top. The football we played was dire and unwatchable.
Can't agree with that. Excluding the 1st game of the season, up until the West Ham implosion where suddenly everything seemed to change after and we went ultra defensive, we looked really good. My (non spurs) mates thought we were in with a shout of the title, which was flattering us a little, but we were scoring plenty. I remember as it surprised me and was very different to the Mourinho ball I was expecting. I think that West Ham comeback probably screwed us, as Mourinho reverted to type, we stopped scoring so many, but continued to experience the issues in defence.

That’s true under Jose it was our defensive frailties that inevitably let us down. Not sure why people are still hating on Jose because I remember he wanted Dias. Imagine where we would be if we got him. So again I blame levy as he opted for Rodon instead who is a very inexperienced young cb that needs time to grow and not be thrown in the deep end when we are challenging for the title.

It was Jose who turned down Dias according to JJ
