Yep. Kane takes the blame, but the problem is Southgate. Harry ended the season with us looking red hot. Now he looks stuck in mud.

Such a shame that it must always take an enormous calamity (more often a series of them) for any England manager to be sacked, regardless of their obvious mediocrity. It's difficult to fail so spectacularly with this historically strong generation of talent though - similar to how we ended up stuck with Sven for 8 wasted years.

I'd love to see someone like a Potter with this group.

i don’t want Southgate sacked until we’ve appointed a new manager.

Potter is hopefully going to Spurs based on the names we are linked with now! God help us if we go for Southgate

Really struggle to fee for England when there isn’t a single Spurs player out there.
Would quite like to see Scotland score.
At least wake us up a bit.

It’s the performances like this that show you why England aren’t going to be ready to compete with France, Portugal, Italy etc

I can't believe he's keeping Sterling on against a team who are sitting deep.

Southgate is a clown

According to the rules any contact of any sort is a foul… Reality is that isn’t the case. Ball’s going out of play, Sterling is never getting another foot on it even if he isn’t touched
Robertson nowhere near the ball, stamps on Sterling's foot, penalty.

People still want to tell me England made Croatia look normal?

They are really static and have zero invention. The other sides just look souch more slick and operate as a team

Well done Southgate, it takes more work to drain the talent from.this team than it does to use it. What a massive bell.

Whatever system England are playing its making a lot of the players look ordinary.
