It was more like a show of ambition and intention. It would have been an amazing coup. Wouldn’t see anything like this under Levy’s negotiations.

I disagree, it's bad news if we wanted Kounde but the Sanchez angle is bad news for Sevilla, if they take Zouma it will be because they know they have lost Sanchez not in preference to him

Exactly, people believe what their agenda fits to most of the time. Romano is a journalist, he earns his money from clicks on his streams, podcast, and articles. He obviously gets some info which is fair enough but people take his word and his only... people really need to take everything with a pinch of salt...

Perhaps. I don't care about Kounde now, he's Chelsea. I just hope we still manage to get rid of Sanchez. We need two CBS in and I don't want to see us having to partner Romero (if we sign him) with Sanchez or Dier next season.

I agree with you about Kounde too, he wasn't coming to us and got nicked by Chelsea he just wanted what they can offer right now so that's that.

Seen how quickly it moves. Chelsea not even on the scene for Kounde in the media till this afternoon.. nobody saw Gill coming to us! ITK has said there’s plenty suitors for Sanchez! We’ll be fine people just need to chill out a bit and have some patience
People have started to lose faith over the optimistic signing of a player who has been pretty clear he wants CL. Fabrizio and other news outlets stating about 5 different valuations on the Romero price when ITK has said it’s very close. Been linked with Zouma as plan B.. Clearly bullshit! 1 ‘bad day’ and meltdown. Romero in by end of the week and we’re all good again aren’t we ffs ??

Shame about Kounde but it's the reality of what we get for dropping the ball and falling down the ladder. Don't really understand how people can question the players character for being ambitious.
However not the fault of the new people in charge of this sort of thing I.E Paratici.
What I will say is, not getting myself too excited from the noises we were hearing has meant that equally im not too downbeat about this news. I'd have loved Kounde to join us but now we get to see how paratici adapts. I suggest those who are feeling shit because of todays events try and limit their emotions when it's both good and bad news and that way it won't be so shit when it's negative news.

I personally like the idea that Seville said "We'll sell you Gil if we can have Lamela. We also want Davinson Sanchez. We won't be able to afford him unless you can bait Chelsea into paying £70m for Kounde, though."

Look, i knew this 17th of July, am i ITK nowChelsea will swoop in and he will be benched or loaned out until Rudiger/Silva is of next year
