I don't like Kounde's body language in all those highlights from YT. Also his facial expression is a bit Martial-esque. And shit hairstyle
Lacroix is not so overhyped which is good in some way. We have a bad luck with this type of players like Kounde. Lacroix is not too expensive and I doubt he is worse. As a ball playing centerback alongside Romero he would be good
And the main difference is that he is a better athlete than Kounde.
So, Lacroix is a better option for us, IMO.

I think we need to be a little more humble, we are in the conference league so of course top players want the champions league and especially Real Madrid.. If things work out under Nuno we will be back in the Champions League next year so it would be much easier to convince players to stay long term.. if we are being used as a stepping stone by top young talent so be it as long as it moves our club forward and brings in funds to reinvest...

Well, those two years passed quickly. Kounde completely bypassed even having to play for us as a stepping stone. ?

And I thought I was being humble in my initial post? I’ve always been realistic and pragmatic about where we stand as a club. I also don’t mind great players gracing our stadium, even for a short period of time. However, I thought Paratici remit would be about building something that is successful in the long term. We just tried short term thinking (Bale and Jose), and it was a pretty mixed bag.
