Also interesting that Davies is back but no Rodon. I'd have assumed they'd return at the same time.

I would have thought Tanguy not being involved is because of the new born which is absolutely fair enough.
Interesting that CCV is starting when he is being touted as off very soon ?

Rather ominous, re: Dier and Winks.

I had already assumed the latter was very likely to leave this summer. But I wonder if Dier is more of a fitness-based reason for his omission tonight. Perhaps he picked up a knock in training or in the last game.

Actually someone just told me that Tanguy may be isolating after being with the newborn - is that a thing ?

If by isolating with a newborn you mean spending time helping his partner and the baby while on paternity leave, yeah that's a thing :LOL:

This is their best Xi apparently. Mid table league 1 last season. Should be a tougher test than first 2 games. Very interesting how Nile John does at this level.

We have another 2 games for pre season.
Nuno could just be using this as a last chance to see the youngsters.
I'm sure we will go stronger 8n those games.

Did Davies play much during the Euros?
He might have come back early as he didn't need as much of a rest?

Any idea when the build up starts on spurs tv? Doesn't seem to be working at the moment but I know it's started 15 minutes before other kos

If he had an injury I'd like to think we would've known by now, but that's now three pre season games he's missed with just two remaining.
